Struggling like hell with the disruption preps. Tried the kill all buzzards, started the disruption and went outside the sub to start. Buzzards outside sub instant kill me before I can even travel to start the rest? The disruption is the killer of this heist it seems. Any ideas? Do I need to buy and use a cheat flying bike? Any help gratefully Recieved peeps

Hydra or lazer machine guns are the best way to go IMO. When you know you’re about to do the buzzard disruption, just park a hydra or lazer on a nearby beach so you can get to it faster. Ezpz

Can't use the missiles of the submarine ?

No I tried that but they didn't lock on and with the 10 minutes to fly all over the place its  just not enough time. Would be good if we could use our expensive sub for that

Thanks Harry I'll give that a whirl

Take the submarine, fast travel to the locations of the buzzards, at least as close as you can get, then drive closer.

When you are close enough, open the periscope while driving, and fire missiles at the buzzards

Why not just use the Sparrow? It's quick enough.

Or just don't do this mission at all and stealth your way through the final.

Do you talking about the first Prep with the Sonar Device?

Actually it was the easiest of all Vehicle Preps in my opinion.

I fast travelled with Kosatka to the nearest point.

Then i drove further from ocean side, till the yellow circle appears.

I dive with Kosatka and below Ocean i saw the Yellow Job Marker on the Enemy Sub.

Just leave Kosatka with Scuba Gear and into the Enemy Sub. Stay on entree Level.

Kill the 3 (?) NPC and straight to the command deck and steal the Device. Done.

If you go stealth, you don't need disruption preps. If you still go loud and do them, then just start prep, wait a bit (like 10 seconds) and change session. Prep gets automatically completed. Ofc this will get fixed some day. But by then you probably won't even bother with these preps.

The only flaw with this plan is that sometimes it spawns chasing buzzards on top of you and if they kill you it gets rocky. Thus the good ole Depressor is the best solution, as usual. :(

You gotta shoot down those things with a weapon of your choice even it's the rocket launcher but for the others a LAZER should be enough, speed and power.

This confuses me. This is about the disruption mission wherein you need to destroy the four groups of buzzards, right? When I do this mission, I don't get more buzzards as enemies, I get froggers with gunmen who can't keep up with the mighty sparrow.

I just use the Sparrow and fly around the map. The lock on works on the enemies standing around the Buzzards so you still manage to destroy them from the blast.  Usually have a few minutes remaining.

I also take this a step further and also beach my sub to be as close as possible.

Also I mention this in a different thread and someone commented about parking the Akula on the top of the sub........ In theory you can also just park your hydra on the back near the missile silos.

can you even fire a missile without a lock on with the periscope?

No, the periscope will only fire when they are locked, but they will lock on to the buzzards. Unfortunately, not all Buzzards are in the ocean, some are on the land. I just do this for sh*ts and giggles, I do the heist stealth anyways.

The chasing helicopters can catch up and be frustrating if you don't have enough speed going. The trick is to make sure you can go in a straight line to go fast and get away from them. If you have to go up to get over a mountain then they can catch you and you're in for a bad time. I've found that they stop bothering me after I get to the second location. They must have only so many spawns for following.

If they do catch you and shoot you down, just kill the gunners then call your CEO Buzzard. They won't shoot at you if the door gunners are dead. It'll give you time to get in your new helicopter and get moving again.

I may have been lucky with spawns today, but I was able to complete this mission in 5 minutes with just the Sparrow today. For me, the guided missiles take longer and you can only miss a couple of shots before time runs out.

I do evasive flying look for towers or cranes and fly around them then try to put them between you and the pursuers even if they don't crash it might slow them down
