Hello, for some reason I am playing the game, on the recommended settings I feel blasts in FPS I would love to know the source of the problem and how to fix it, I am aware that the settings can be downloaded. I would love to know what are the reasons for this, the video card? The ram? The CPU ?. Plus, the graphics flicker for me no matter what settings I put there. The meaning is, the mouth, distant places, places with windows Doing this kind of jitter, graphic jumps, which are very annoying to the eye, I would love to know how to arrange this.

Don't use both fxaa and mxaa.

I have same card. Turn off fxaa, set mxaa to 4x, and enable txaa.

It would be helpful to know your current graphics settings, please post them. CPU and Ram specs looks good, those shouldn't be a problem for GTA V.

I'd start with Extended Distance Scaling = Off (in advanced graphics). That setting alone will hammer your performance, no matter what you are doing.

Also, set High Resolution Shadows = Off in Advanced Graphics.

As for normal graphics settings:

Don't set Grass to Very High/Ultra, just use High

Don't use Reflection MSAA unless you are using Ultra reflections, but even then, it is hardly noticable.

You can actually combine MSAA with FXAA if you want, just don't combine TXAA with FXAA, that looks bad, only use FXAA OR TXAA, I use FXAA + MSAA but that is just my preference.

Also, open nVidia control panel, go to Program Settings, find GTA5.exe and set the following settings:

Anisotropic Filtering: 16x

(for old driver versions) Maximum pre-rendered frames: 1

(for new driver versions) Low Latency mode: On (not Ultra)

Multi-Frame Sampled AA (MFAA): Off

And set a frame limiter below 180fps, GTA V has a bug where it stutters if it reaches framerates over 188fps

edit: I see you have a 165Hz monitor, limit the fps at 165fps, or 160 with Gsync.

Try setting MSAA x2, Reflection MSAA off, and Soft Shadows = Softer.

nVidia PCSS isn't worth it. As pretty as it looks, it is prone to a certain bug where it draws weird stuff on the ground around your character, and it consumes a lot of GPU power.

If you do that, you can keep reflections at Ultra.

Also, turn off Depth-of-Field Effects. Unless you like the blur effect from lens focus. I personally find it annoying.

First of all, if you use the settings recommended by NVIDIA GeForce Experience you are making a big mistake.
Second, the settings you're currently using for an entry level video card like the GTX 1060 are far too high to achieve decent fps.
So, for a performance boost you must disable the MSAA.

Definetly saving this bread. I still can't figure why some of these options don't do sh*t, so maybe this is what I've been looking.

Have you checked this, OP?

Not sure if it's reliable but seems in-depth enough to take a look

Weird. I have the same graphics card and a quite a lot worse PC in general. Everything cranked up to max and outside of cayo perico zero problems.
