"The biggest update to GTA V yet"? I don't think so.

Let me start off saying i love this update, the heist is super easy, and a great way to earn money. I also realise this update was done entirely from home, so props to Rockstar for making a good update while Covid is a thing.

 

Anyways, the point. Biggest update yet? Cutscene wise, yes. Content wise, no. Besides the island itself, I would consider this update small, all it has going for it is a new place.

 

Let me explain. Imagine, if you will, that the heist took place on the already existing map of Los Santos. For arguements sake, lets say that El Rubio's compound is Devon Weston's house over by Fort Zancudo. They added some guard towers, you gotta sneak to the house. You still can find bolt cutters, grappling hooks, etc. The entirety of the heist takes place there instead of Cayo Parico.

 

In this scenario we removed one thing from the DLC, The Island. Lets look at all the other content. Some cars, a few guns, and some radio stations, and the sub. Not a lot, lets be honest.

 

We're 2 weeks since launch, and we already down to 6 vehicles left unreleased through drip feed.

 

Is this update great? Yes. But is this the biggest update to ever hit Los Santos? I don't think so.
