Is a no-kills Elite challenge run possible?

The first half of the heist i'm in and i'm out. But where I am having trouble is filling the loot bags: everytime i sneak to some loot I get caught by a guard. Even if they're out of sight it seems one always is alerted when you touch the loot if they haven't been dispatched yet. has anyone succesfully snuck past them and grabbed a table or two? 

 

let me edit this with my run so far:

 

i tried going in with Longfin so I would have the smuggler clothes and maybe sneak past the guards- so far the only help is the guard by the cran guarding the main docks hasnt spawned

 

the easy to grab shed is out of the question, no way to sneak past the sentry

 

the other shed i can get to undetected and open, but everytime i start filling bags? the guy sees me somehow

What I know so far:

 

Use drainage tunnel to get in. Getting into the office is super easy and quick, the last guard by the office door is the only slight trouble. Wait until he gets to a stop point and stands there, sneak behind.

 

Leaving office is the same plan, that guard just wait until you can sneak behind him. I run around down the stairs to the ground floor and jump over the balcony to make a quick left out the main gate

 

When leaving the main compound area, just go left and avoid the guard's field of vision. Follow the fence to the guardhouse and you can jump on the crates to jump on top of it, jump down and stay against the wall until the camera pans right, grab the bike and go

 

so far thats no kills, with a possible main treasure, safe, and painting if lucky. I need to time that to determine how much time I have to find a raidable solo shack that will fill the bag, then a proper escape

 

Q: if I leave the Longfin at the docks will it be their when I return? Are there and anchored ships outside the guard's view anywhere on the island?

I can see two ways:

1. You are very lucky and get two paintings in the office.
2. There is enough loot in the hangar building to fill your bags. No guards will find you in there.

AFAIK the guard disguises still work after leaving the compound with the primary loot -- despite Pavel saying that they do not work anymore. So this might enable you to get a boat even in the view of a guard.

okay so the guard uniforms I will try, havent gone that route yet. My only concern with the airstrip is reaching it and escaping undetected within time.

 

on my current run theres one painting in the office and one table of coke at the main docks. first i am going to try going in with the Longfin so i have the smuggler disguise at least, and grab the cocaine. there is one painting in the office, that SHOULD fill my loot bag but if not theres weed next to the coke. I think if i grab a third to a half of the table at a time, MAYBE. Just maybe. Again my concern with a guard uniform is going to be time, I would likely need to equip if possible AFTER hitting the main house- my main approach is the grate, but if i go in to the docks first it may be possible. My knife only run was still under 11 minutes and theres definetly time saved in not slashing everyone I really want to make this happen

Oh yeah, I forgot you are attempting elite, so you are low on time. Stacking up boxes to get to the higher loot in the hangar is definitely out of the question then. AFAIK guards will still see through your disguise if they see you cutting a lock and/or grabbing loot.

 

It might be possible to pick up the loot in the fields to the East, or the shed at the Northern Dock that opens to the North, undetected and without having to kill anyone. You could try going in on either dock because usually you can find guard uniforms there without having to kill anyone. Then you could grab a Manchez, loot, and a grappling hook, drive through the main gate / jump over the fence, and climb over a wall to get inside the compound.

Yes it is possible. Also, if you're using the Longfin, you can drive to the drainage tunnel and enter through there. Yes, you will have enough oxygen to get through.

And upon watching it they were in fact detected so I guess my challenge still stands. Honestly everyone dives off that cliff and swims like idiots when you can just walk around those 4 guards in front of the compound to the LEFT, qand climb the boxes right over the guard house and be out of their view and away on the dirtbike below. Just need to find a stealth exit. 

 

I was able to use Longfin, pull up to island at main dock, wait for a jeep to circle the building and i grabbed coke, still undetected i got back in the boat and made my way to the grate, got in the compound and nabbed bonds and a painting, giving me the full bag. 

 

at 11 minutes I was back at the main docks undetected but have yet to find a safe way out

You can just jump in the ocean and swim away. Yes, you will still make it in time.

I can still make it out past the guardhouse at least i wonder where the best place to jump off and swim from would be

I just did a test run like this: Velum entry, grab coke at airfield shed (not hangar but either one works), grab Manchez next to solar farm, grab disguise (at the pier because there were none at the airfield), grab grappling hook, take Manchez around the Eastern road, up to the radio tower, road down towards main gate, jump fence, climb over wall, sneak into office, grab painting, grab primary, exit through main gate -- and here's what's good about the guard uniform -- you can just take the Manchez from the guy standing outside and he won't be bothered by it, you'll remain undetected, then jump off the southwesternmost tip of the island, and swim to escape.

 

Like I said, just a test run (I didn't actually know yet how to navigate the compound without killing anyone), but this should work in under 15 minutes.

 

EDIT: Yep, I just completed it like that elite in under 10 minutes. (Can probably be done in under 9 with better locations of pick-ups.) I took a very low-res, low-FPS video (my PC is ass), but I won't publish it because it shows my GTA name and everything. I can send it via PM tho if requested.

I have yet to try a no kills entry with the guard truck thats my next step. If i can figure that out then I got this for sure

Yeah, I can definitely confirm that after I just took the Manchez from the guard outside and he didn't bat an eye. 😅

 

It's not the first time what the heist guide NPC says differs from what the game actually does. E.g. Lester's "completely undetectable" nano drones.

so now that i know the uniforms work, lets make a new challenge:

 

on and off the island, elite challenge, but NO secondary items (pickups on items like uniforms, grappling, bolt cutters)

 

the goal is to see if there is an efficient and usable method to do the heist UNDETECTED and elite status

 

i have seen it done with people getting detected, not interested. this is all about stealth

I think my approach above could still work under these conditions with two changes:

• Instead of picking up a grappling hook and jumping over the compound fence with a Manchez, drive/dive into the water and take the drainage tunnel
• Instead of simply taking the Manchez from the guard when exiting the compound, run to the SW cliff undetected

So time could become an issue here.

 

If the North Dock shed that opens to the North can be raided without guard detection, then making a Longfin entry there would probably be faster than Velum entry, hangar loot, and stealing a Manchez. (EDIT: This shed can be looted without getting detected.)

 

The heist layout I have currently prep'd seems unsuitable for this (e.g. no art in office), so I'll probably wait for a friend who I can gift the money, before I try again. (I don't need the money so that would be like throwing away $1.5 million.)

if it helps, once you've exited the compound via the front door if you go north west you can just jump in the sea and swim from there, no need to go poast the checkpoint or to the docks etc.

 

If you imagine running right up to the checkpoint, just go left and follow that road and jump off the end, obviously if you are avoiding guards etc you'll probably cut across ground directly from the front door.

 

might help you timewise.

fwiw pretty sure you can rob the secondary near the antenna, in the field, without killing.

13:18 with Kosatka and drainage tunnel. No kills, no detection, no secondary equipment. For a run like this in general, you need to be lucky with the secondary loot spawns.

 

Followed this guy's path (yes same video I posted above) but instead of taking the boat and getting detected, I ran back to the coast, jumped in the water, and swam away.

uploading the video now, just used Longfin to go to north docks and grab guard outfit, to the main docks for some coke, grabbed a dinghy nd went to the tunnel, then snuck in and out and grabbed a dirtbike to the main docks for a boat and i was gone. under 12 minutes undetected no kills

is it just me or are bike physics crazy on the island like i hit a tree but i go FLYING off it

I tried it now without items, elite, no kills, undetected and got it done in 9:41 (on hard), using the following approach:

 

Longfin entry, Main Dock, turn boat around while the jeep passes (takes like half a minute to turn around a Longfin lol), steal coke there (central shed), back to boat, head to drainage tunnel, steal painting from office, steal primary loot (bearer bonds), exit through main door, run to the cliff, swim to escape. I don't think it's possible to escape any other way undetected, without items and killing anyone. Maybe it's possible to walk around the edges of the fence? I doubt it though.

 

Again I took a video but I won't make it a public upload.

 

Thanks for the challenge. 👍 I thought I was already done with the heist a week ago. 😉
