It is bugged (no surprise there, so many things are bugged and R* does not seem interested in fixing them). So: Join from the main menu. Leave the posse. Immediately rejoin the now local posse. Normally I would, but it was the 1st time in ages that I had no PvP bull for my daily challenges so I figured I could do all of the challenges without too much frustration. BUT THE BENZ Posted December 26, 2020 Share Posted December 26, 2020 especially these days, absolutely NOT worth it. seriously, do a stranger mission (angus at wallace station) instead. you get a 50/50 chance on a loot-map and/or treasure hunter encounter. AND, if you run down the timer 20 minutes+, (you can collect in the meantime), you can make another 0.4 in gold - which is still MORE than lousy 0.25 with the highest streak going. and f*ck that 0.75 "extra" reward. For me the value of the dailies is that they often make me aware of things I did not know about the game and bring variety. While gold mattered a lot to me initially, it no longer does (at least not much). completing things and doing stuff that I care about is different. Sure, there are things to buy with extra gold, but I am not in a rush for those. I think my gold goals right now are - in order: (1) the black Arabian, (2) the next outlaw pass. Focus on that... Yeah, I've only got about 700 in gold so I've actually started doing bounty missions. I don't find the role very interesting, so I only did enough to max out the bounty role previously. Then I heard about the projected cost of housing, I guess I better get a move on. There was one the other day, a daily that was simply "join a posse"; I was lucky and one was "open" in the list of players so I hit "join" and it counted (then I left it.) 18 hours ago, StyxTx said: Only 600? I think those old data-mined prices, since they were mined so long ago, are VERY likely out of date if they were ever to add that stuff...
