what is your favorite of all the big cities in the red dead series?

merry christmas everyone. so today i was thinking of all the big towns in the red dead series. i put this topic in the red dead redemption 2 section since we dont have a red dead section on here. so the big towns are brimstone, escalera, blackwater, and saint denis. i know saint denis is huge compared to the rest of them. but they are still bigger than the rest of the towns. so i will rank them from best to worst in my opinion.

 

saint denis. i love saint denis for so many reasons. first off i love the buildings and architecture. there are so many cool interiors here. one of my favorites is the art gallery. i also love how unique the pedestrians are. there are african americans. french, italian spanish and even chinese. i love the little chinese strip. its also the only place in the main map that has palm trees. which are my favorite trees. there is so much more that i like. of course its not perfect. it is annoying to get around fast. and the cops whistles are super annoying. and it ruins a good shootout. other than that its great.

 

escalera. i was almost tempted to put escalera at number one. because this city has so much that i love about it. the buildings and architecture are really nice here. as well. and it even has the cool mansion. my favorite things about this town is the white sand, palm trees and cactus. all three combine into some of the most beautiful scenery i have ever seen. and to top it off i love to have shootouts here. i usually camp at one of the towers at the mansion. and pick off the soldiers. the only downside to this town is the lack of stuff to do. sure there are your typical stores and saloon. but it does not have much else to do.

 

blackwater. i really dont care for blackwater. and i hate it even more in rdr2. i will start with the positives. i like the view of the lake. i also like some of the interiors. like the hotel and movie theater. thats about it. other than that i just dont care for anything else there. and i rarely ever go there unless i replay the story. the only reason why i put it above brimstone is because i have more memories there and nostalgia.

 

brimstone. i actually like this town. its a really cool desert town. it really feels like a old west town. and its the only part of the game that you can free roam. it has some cool places and a nice saloon. but its main downside is the lack of much to do. and the graphics are not as good either. if brimstone was in the redemption games with a full free roam game. im sure it would be higher.

 

so that is my list. what do you rank these towns? and how do you want to see rockstar handle big towns in the future red dead games? do you want to see another saint denis sized town or bigger? i would love to see them do san fransisco.

I prefer the smaller ones, however if I had to choose it would be Blackwater.
