Suror Posted December 24, 2020 Share Posted December 24, 2020 (edited) Hello everyone, I used to play GTA IV for a while, and recently I've upgraded my PC. Now When I play I face a strange glitch (I think it is called falling glitch). The following video is describing the problem: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4_I-sUiTXI Game version was 1.0.7 and I patched it to 1.0.8 to fix the problem but with no luck. kartoshka Posted January 1, 2021 Share Posted January 1, 2021 Well textures not loading is a common issue, but it seems the models don't load for you. If you downgraded your game I think maybe you somehow managed to corrupt your world files. If that's the case and you can't manage to downgrade it right after a fresh install. I would just suggest to skip the hassle of downgrading and to just download a pirated game install 1.0.7.0 or lower. Updating is always easier than downgrading so even lower versions are fine. (I am not supporting piracy, I have bought the game myself, but I prefer to download the pirated versions to save myself from the hell that is downgrading). Thanks for replying, It was already 1.0.7 and had the same problem, then to figure it out I've upgraded to 1.0.8 and still the problem exists!! I think that it is not an update issue!! If you did then maybe you did something wrong and you should try doing a fresh install, following steps closely on any downgrading tutorial. But I would strongly recommend to download an install from torrents which is version 1.0.7.0 or lower, so you wouldn't need to downgrade again.
