Basically my psplus ran out today (I'll get more on Christmas) and for some reason i still had access to gta online. Any other online game would force me get psplus while gta 5 just lets me play. So my question is Did rockstar make it that you can play without psplus? I'm new on this forum.

There is "some thing" or "some thing else" which allows "some" PlayStation players to access Red Dead Online and / or GTA Online without having an active PS Plus subscription. 

 

I believe the grace period is 2 weeks maximum. I could be wrong, but yours isn't the first case I've seen of this.

As said before, there is sometimes a grace period.. Rockstar is plugged in like a MF. Enjoy your time. You are gonna re-up on Xmas? Maybe even wait until like Jan 1st..  

 

Or if you can help it just wait until the day comes where the game tells you "Playstation Plus subscription required"

 

You're in that frrreee grace period. Enjoy it. 😆
