Good news, friend! RDO is the opposite of GTAO; there's no segregation between free and auto aim, and you can switch between them at any time. I'm the sole free aimer in my posse but I switch back to auto for long distance trader sales. aaronBLUEeyes
aaronBLUEeyes
Really!? I just heard the opposite recently... actually now that I do think about it I recall also hearing something like free aim used to be separate but no longer? I can't recall if the aiming modes were ever separated GTAO style, I just know I played with auto in the earliest days when blips were globally visible and the general PvP danger level was a lot higher, and I switched to free aim not long after the current blip system was implemented. I have heard vague rumours that the matchmaking system supposedly tries to place people with the same aim style together in lobbies but I don't really believe it and just assume every other player is playing in auto. After all, everyone I've ever met and gotten to know well enough to learn their aim preference plays auto, and we were randomly placed in the same session at one point. aaronBLUEeyes
Decided to get RollingBlock during sale on Riffles last week. I’ve been using it in Showdown series with Longscope. What’s everyone’s thought on preferred scope zoom? Running Peak Condition & Sharp Shooter cards with it!
Dr.Rosenthal
I'd say go for the Carcano (can't speak for Rolling Block since I don't own it). I always use the Bolt Action when hunting, sometimes toggling scope aim, but rarely tbh. IMO I often get the cleanest kills using auto aim and going for head shots. The scope can make it seem like you're lining up a headshot but then it turns out it's a half-miss and you've ruined the animal. I never hunt using the Carcano - BUT if I'm finding myself entangled in a PvP jerkfest and I need to do long-distance shooting, the Carcano is my go-to choice and it's rarely let me down. Sure packs a punch. In comparison, the Bolt Action is always too weak with long distances. EDIT: Realized you'd made your choice already, lol. Well, I hear the Rolling Block is great so, well chosen, sir! Edited February 12, 2021 by Dr.Rosenthal
