Mini-Map Transparency Settings?

Okay, this has never been an issue before in this game, either SP or GTAO, but on Cayo Perico Island, especially during scoping and the finale, the semi-transparent nature of the mini-map is driving me crazy! Note: I'm not talking about the big pause map, but the HUD map. The problem is that there is a ton of stealth on this island, and I am having difficulty a lot of the time with the environment bleeding through the mini-map, and this is screwing with my ability to see and time the cones of vision, both of the guards and the cameras. It's also making it difficult to time the movement of guards near me on foot and in vehicles.

 

tl;dr - Is there any way to make that mini-map a lot more opaque?

Sorry for the bump, but I was hoping for an answer to this.

Don't know about PC but console, nope, you're stuck with a tiny map taking up 2% of your 50" 4K TV. If you try "expanded map" then you get a bigger square and a much lower scale, equally useless.

 

All I can suggest is doing the heist at night and ideally after dosing the water supply. And consider sabotaging the airfield/power.

I was hoping it would be more evident that we poisoned the guards... enemy gunfire interrupted as the guard let's out a questionably wet sounding fart, or better obviously sh*ts their pants.

I don't think you understand the question I asked. I LOVE having a mini-map on my screen. It has been a staple of all my SP GTA experiences since the 90's, and is an indispensable part of my GTAO play since I started about 6 months ago.

 

Edit: I also recently discovered you could expand the mini map temporarily with the D-Pad and I find that amazing!

Oh  well. I mean, i love the nightmode styled map. But i never got what helped get me killed in the lobbies or why suddenly mk2s appears near to me without me seeing them first. It just hit me some day while corona. The map is see-through and i oftsn get confused...... 

 

Is there seriously no option? In that case i wished, i could change it to the old map. I play the game since release and never got that for years.
