So yeah, Public sessions are a worthless joke for the ages.  

 

To the OP topic, when I got my Sea Sparrow, it was RIP Buzzard.  Same general specs, no missile cooldown, and I can take it out to the Kosatka when I want to, and fly back, while leaving the Kosatka Sparrow in reserve -- very very handy.  Used the Sea Sparrow for many many missions.  

Interesting points of view, saintsrow! Especially about the MTU. I'll have to look into that. Thx!!

As for the RIP Buzzard, I can totally appreciate that and agree. However, something unexpected happened with the intro of the Cayo Perico Heist.

Many of my vehicles have come back from the dead!  

 

See, I park the Kosatka beside my Aquarius yacht and leave it there.
When I'm out and about in the city, I've been flying the MKII to the yacht and safely parking it on the empty helipad. It stays there throughout the entire session, until I call for it.
Then, while doing prep missions, I've been using the Seasharks, the Toro, the Dinghy, and the Swift helicopter, all which come with the yacht.
It's been a revitalization – instead of RIP – of both my interest in the game and in these previously dead vehicles. 

I've been skipping around, all over the map, leveraging the strengths of all the different vehicles. Do I "need" a Sparrow? No, not at all. Would it be nice to have? Absolutely.
So, maybe after I complete the full heist and have some extra cash around, I'll just dump it into the Moon Pool vehicles... or just wait until the next major Heist/DLC drops.

Rockstar did a nice job in finally integrating the Yachts and the yacht vehicles into the current Heist/DLC. But, how long with that be relevant once the heist is done? Hmm...

The RIP feeling has died down a bit finally! But overall, for a multiplayer online game it is kinda meh? Or the GOAT. Just depends how you wanna look at it. 

 

How about we just call GTAO a single player expansion? Best played alone.. (J/k)
