Where does the game go from here? Seriously.

I mean I spend all my time in invite only sessions. The only time I go into public is to sell my nightclub stash and when I do that, I glitch a solo session.

I really wish we could choose a lobby without weaponized vehicles,

Also wish there was some activities to do in freeroam that don't include playing the game like it's another mode in COD or Battlefield.

Bogdan is still the best money maker, can be done in under 12 minutes, requires no preps that take 3 hours in itself (if of course you have it from before.) also requires only one person/friend. 

 

This heist is made unnecessary grindy and with all those preps for it, it has already become stale for me. Island isn't fun to explore either as you can't even climb the smallest of rocks, before your character falls (the whole design is dull). To top it all of stealth in this game is broken, especially on PC. So it is almost impossible to do the heist solo without getting detected and being mowed down by the terminator NPCs. 

 

You get none of that in Bogdan and still can do the heist itself in under 12 min with decent people. 

that really is an unpopular RIP for me. Act II finale is so f*cking boring, it may as well be the poster child for grinding. Cayo Perico gave me something I haven't had since in this game since last year with the casino heist, and that was fun. It's still got the frustrating GTA jank but you only have to do like 6 preps and pay 25k and within the hour you have access to a whole new weapon playground.

 

as for the complaint for the preps, Bogdan finale is the worst offender to me because of the stromberg prep (and accompanying useless setup mission where you spam missiles and stand still under a sub/plane crash for 3 minutes) followed by getting the RCV and spending 15 or so minutes spraying vans and enemies down so somebody can interact with an object like, 12 times or something. Even DCH has like 10 preps you have to do, and most of them can drag on if you aren't careful. 

 

I agree the island is pretty unfun to explore, but iirc the slope slipping only happens when trying to leave the water and climb up the side. I've never seen it on the island itself. As for stealth, it's probably the easiest stealth mission in online, excluding that simeon repo job at the airport. Considering they can hear bullet impacts, and also dont have a cone of vision behind them, you can just take a wide circle and pistol whack a lot of them (including the juggernaut) whereas literally half of the act 2 finale i'm tabbed out because of an unskippable plot dump

I still do bunker sales and nightclub sales on the side.

Every time I scout Cayo Perico I get better and better at it and can scout the whole island in about twenty minutes. Most times I do not even get detected anymore. Hell I do it intentionally sometimes to get sent back to the airport to leave when I am finished.

Do you really think that we could go from 'Back in my day we did Rooftop Rumble all day'  to 'Back in my day we did Heists and Bogdan all day''?

Because a solo-grindable heist with a kind-of-affordable paywall (the basic Kosatka and cheapest Penthouse) sounds tempting:

No Facility, no Hangar, no Warehouses, no Bike Club, no Arena workshop, just buy a submarine and earn at least a million on average daily.

Just by being free to use any lobby choice for this heist creamed that game. How one can still offer the freedom it does while the other goes all out to remove/restrict it is a joke. It's like they never wanted RDRO in the first place. 

Red Dead Online is a joke. Not sure how people can still play it. With GTAO they at least add new content and there is a lot to do. It sucked at launch too but they improved it a lot over the years. With RDO it has been over two years but they don't give a sh*t

You know that the replay glitch works for every heist, right? Including Cayo Perico.

 

I'm actually surprised people still glitch Bogdan in 2020. Especially when the gold glitch was working for the casino, that's when everyone should have moved on.

You don't even need the Penthouse. The first time you go to the Music Locker Miguel tells the Guard to let you in. You can then buy the Sub but from then on the Guard shoo's you away.

Other heists take longer than 12 min to complete with that glitch, just saying. That's why a lot of people haven't moved on from Bogdan.

I don't need money myself, I barely play this game anymore. Just making a point that Bogdan, if you got it from before is easier to glitch than the rest.

With the way it is setup on PC, I doubt. Especially for me.

There were two versions of the glitch. The first one couldn't have been easier, and the second is about as hard as Air Support not going near the Avenger in Bogdan. Both are fixed now, but if you were glitching Bogdan while the gold glitch was active you were making about half the money in the same time.

Basically any other form of solo money making. This is going to top everything else. Even if you take the setups at a leisurely pace $1m an hour is easily do-able.

 

Occasionally worth doing a Nightclub delivery, but I’d say it’s probably not even worth the bother of paying for bunker supplies and doing a delivery any more.

Bunker is offline, adding to my pile of properties containing entirely unoccupied rednecks. Coke lab peeps haven't worn clothes in years.

 

But mostly my schtick, UN peacekeeper, has changed from Chernobog or akula etc to my new loitering munition, a cruise missile circling the skies waiting for retribution to be called for.

I can't torture myself with some of those missions any longer. And I hardly feel the need to orbital cannon folks anymore. 

 

The sub is literally a poor mans orbital cannon. Coupled with the fact I actually get trolled hard as f*ck in Doomsday missions. They're all but dead to me. Having recently learned you can get snacks from the arcade and the submarine...the facility might become a novelty for me. 

 

Funny enough though, even before the new DLC was released I had started a new character with one thing in mind. A legit 100 k/d. I was tired of gtao and legitimate wanted to spend all my hard earned millions.

 

His back story was psycho, I bought him a full decked out penthouse and facility. Probably spent around 15 million. He would be a passive player. Only mingling at the poker tables or orbital cannon duck hunting... So after about 5 OC shots I was excited to go look.. His kd should be 5.00 on the nose. So I check the pause menu... 1.44 k/d. WTF is diss??

 

Turns out that BROKE ASS little statistic transfers to the new/2nd character. I got a good laugh and promptly deleted him. What a huge waste...

Yeah I stopped using the Bunker after Doomsday.

 

Mathematically though (this is just me being nerdy as rates of return interest me), I think it’s now fundamentally a poor return.

 

If you buy supplies, it’s 140k net, and on average let’s say 10 minutes a delivery (some are quicker but occasionally you’ll get Merryweather etc, and you can ignore the passive time as you can do other activities.) By my calculations Cayo Perico is 1m an hour, or 160k every ten minutes - also with no risk of you being trolled by broomsticks.

 

Its all a bit daft as I have more cash in my GTA Bank than I spent and only came back because it’s a new heist and Elite challenge. But for a new player (if they keep coming) looking to boost their bank I’d say get the sub as soon as possible.

Makes me think back to contact missions and cargobobbing cars for a living. Kids these days don’t know how easy they’ve got it!

If I ignored secondary objectives I could probably finish it in 7 to 9 minutes.

 

Drain, get key, go to safe through basement, exit main gate, kill dude and grab bike, follow fence left, hijack civilian boat, laught all the way to the bank.

I've only completed it once, and did it in 11:43. That was with no idea what I was doing. I guarantee you could shave off 3 or 4 minutes once you got a system down.

I long thought about buying the Mount Gordo facility just for the view (it's the worst for actually playing the heist) and now I might do it to also get a safe *and* quick travel to my submarine. Del Perro Heights is near the water as well, but that area is always busy, and at least half of all facility owners are in Paleto Bay.

Swim in first person and using the Kosatka will be faster because you get a diving suit which allows you to swim faster.

RIP joining Casino heists on call. The one time I actually got into one that started, it was Aggressive (4 players), main door entry, heavy armor sourced, but not selected (what kind of noob sources heavy armor, and then doesn't use it), no Duggan Shipments done, so they had BP helmets. At least he had the Carbine setup from Gustavo Mota. We never even made it to the staff lobby, but I'm guessing he had no keycards either.

With my other 20 attempts, I either got kicked from the job (most of them sneaky/Big Con, so I guess that's a case of not closing matchmaking), or the leader left the planning screen.

At that spot around 2 boats pass every 10 sec, close enough for you to lock-on to the driver. Still, you only save about 30 sec or so.
