Illusive Prime
So everytime that R* released an update or DLC. For instance; the Cayo DLC, it makes my mods folder non-functional. About 1 minuite or so durring the loading of the game it automatically quits the game. I've tried putting a new "mods" folder in and took all the add-on folders into it and added the add-on vehicles to the new dlclist document file and yet the annoying problem still comes up! Is there a way to fix this annoyance of a problem?

Latest one from the GTA5Mods website, even that doesn't fix it.

Does the game work fine if you don't have your mods folder working? By that I mean if you rename the folder to no_mods or something like that, does the game load and run fine? That's just to work out if it's something outside the mods folder causing the problem. If it runs fine, then you possibly have a mod in your mods folder that is not compatible with the latest update. That unfortunately means removing all addons from the dlclist.xml and then adding them back one at a time to see which one causes the crash. It's worth removing all the addon entries in the dlclist anyway, just to check that it's not a mod in the update.rpf causing any problems. So basically: 1) Rename your mods folder first, to check if the game still runs to rule out any scripts. 2) Rename your mods folder back to mods and then remove all addon entries from the dlclist to rule out the update.rpf as the cause of the crash. 3) Add the addons back one at a time until it crashes. There aren't really any shortcuts to this kind of problem unfortunately, you just have to rule things out one by one. Illusive Prime

I've tried it, and took out the one that might be the culprit and it worked. All my other Add-on cars should work fine now if I can get a Trainer to work on the game. lol Cheers LeeC22
