Cayo Perico Heist Bugs and Glitches

Has anyone been experiencing any bugs or glitches with this update ?

 

One I've been experiencing is being unable to lock on to enemies with any form of homing missles (homing launcher / vehicles) during the weapons and armor disruption missions in the Cayo Perico heist setup. Just those two missions have the issue. All the other setups are fine.

Some prep missions have ammo/grenades pickups. None of those work for me.

 

I'm talking about RPGs in the mission to steal the stealth helicopter and the grenades in the armor disruption mission.

Most of my glitches have been with the sub. PS4

 

#1: Spawn it in and in coming out of the water when I get close, it's flew off into space and it never came back down.

#2: Spawn it in and in coming out of the water when I get close, it jumps into the air, comes back down and gets stuck in a loop of doing that freezes my character in place if I touch it, forcing a reload.

#3: Spawn it in and in coming out of the water when I get close, it created a set of giant frozen walls of water around it. At least with that one, I could still get into it and just ignore it.

#4: My Toreador will sometimes fail to stay in the sub "garage" and instead, will just be sitting in the middle of the casino horse track for no reason.

#5: My sub map icon will attach itself to random things. Anything from my personal vehicle, to my yacht, could have my sub icon laid on top of it.

I experimented a bug where in the fingerprint duplicator prep mission : I wasn't able to enter the submarine and deliver the object

Rockstar Editor will crash when editing a clip recorded from Cayo Perico Island on all platforms.

The water tower in the north docks is glitched. 

 

The trigger for poisoning the water should be on the TOP of the water tower, not at the bottom. When you click on it at the bottom, the game tries to play the animation for adding the chemicals to the tower and thus VIOLENTLY PULLS the player character up to the top of the tower. This causes the game to register a high speed physical strike/impact with the platform on the tower killing the character.

 

PS4 by the way. And I haven't checked the other towers yet.

I've always wondered why someone in mansion screams though I didn't kill anyone yet.

According to minimap, an enemy icon said he was below me and it disappears soon. So I think he fell through the map.

What if he's the one had key?

I have a problem where I’m stealing a valum to fly to cayo perico to do my second run of the heist but every time I fly to the marker it doesn’t work been having the same problem for 3 days now

Had the same problem some days ago, switched session then it worked. 

Had another bug yesterday when patrol boat hadn't spawned inside merryweather base. Lost 10 minutes clearing the base for nothing and after switching session another 15 or so with annoying wave of anihilators chasing me.

Had this as well, also couldn't enter the sub to deliver weapons I think, some prep.  Switching sessions fixed it. Was reminiscent of the Casino heist glitch delivering things.

Yep, same here.  Tried flying to the island by stealing that plane for the second start up, and couldn't find the marker.  So I tried flying south at which point my plane's engine cut out lol.

 

Bit frustrating, as it takes forever to fly that damn thing all the way from the top of the map.  Haven't managed to start my second playthrough yet because of this.

Yes, a glitch when I go to story mode after finishing playing GTA Online (yes I like to exit GTA Online like that, they told me it´s the proper way to do it to avoid some lost progress because the game didn´t saved that in the R* cloud, while exiting like that you force the game to save in the cloud, that´s why I do it like that), the game saves all my progress in the R* cloud as usual but sometimes it gets stuck in the "clouds view" and don´t load my story mode character, that never happened to me before and now it has been like 3 times that happened to me

if you use the truck cabine of your MOC for the speedboat prep mission, the yellow marker at the harbor will not be triggered.

 

you have to use one of the mission spawned truck cabins or catch one from the street.

- Ran to grab the jammer on the sub, game glitched my character behind the chest that the jammer was on, couldn't move not matter what I did. Had to join new session

- Game not letting me go inside sub after I get the Cutting Torch 

- English Dave Chakra Stones, yellow circle in LSIA not showing up, could not complete mission

- Periscope randomly falling off 

- Friend exited the sub while I was fast traveling, he lost all his controls, couldn't take damage, had to find new session

- Sub icon appearing on land

 

I'm trying to enjoy this update but all these bugs are annoying and taking the fun out the game.

Invite only session solved this glitch for me.

 

It's great you can do all the prep missions in Invite only.

last night i scoped out the island a 2nd time in a invite only session.

it took me 2 tries, 1st try i had to go to the beach near paleto bay (i drove there), after i killed all the enemies i got in the plane only to find out it was timed.

i failed, the 2nd time i flew to grapseed in my sparrow once again i killed all the enemies and i made it.

no glitches.

but on the day of the dlc's release after i bought the sub (and fully upgraded it).

i was doing the heist setup where i had the get the jammer, i ended up getting glitched behind the chest.

i ended up leaving and retrying later.

I’ve been having a glitch in the plasma cutter mission. Once I load into the safe house to take a picture of the planning board, I take a picture of the planning board and attempt to send it to Pavel, it doesn’t give me the option to. Any help ? I’ve even tried to switch sessions and try loading into a invite only session. Nothing really has worked.

Try moving further away. 

I know it sounds stupid, I guess because Rockstar are kinda stupid, but I had the same sort of issue. Realised that I needed to be further away and that worked.

i had the same issue today getting the plasma cutter today until i looked it up on google and found out that i had to take a picture of the planning board at a distance.

on the 1st video you need to smack pavel around for not taking care of your sub.

on the 2nd the western rogue must have been a do it yourself plastic model.

Once I got stuck between a toolbox and wooden object behind it. My charackter was constantly trieing to walk but just couldnt get out

so far I have encountered:

 

On initial setup twice I have landed in Los Santos after scoping out and the game crashed, had to redo

 

On Kosatka setup I got stuck walking behind the sonar jammer after picking it up, could do nothing but restart game

 

When going to use the fingerprint cloner in Rubio's office twice I have had the game instantly crash

 

Best one yet: while escaping Cayo Perico, the USS Luxington spawned off the north coast. I drove the dinghy towards it full speed but the mission ended before reaching it

 

EDIT: one time when going to do scope out with a friend my game crashed but he still got sent to the island- he was unable to see any guards nor could they see him, he was able to pull out his weapons, but was unable to call in or use any vehicles besides the ones already on the island
