4-Player Elite Challenge | Cayo Perico Heist | Anyone else done it yet?

Recommended Posts

I've just completed ours with my team and it took a LOT of planning as all 4 people need full bags of loot. Anyway, I've just now tried to look on Youtube and can't seem to find anyone else who has completed the 4-player EC. Anyone here done it? Approach? Tactics?

Here's ours:

I've written down our tactics in the description. TT-Quattro's perspective is probably the best. Wish I never gave him that role now 😛

UPDATE: We've since thrashed that time

Heavily depends on RNG and it not worth to go 4 man, less money. Once I had 6 gold packs inside mansion area.

Not worth it for the money but worth it for the challenge. I have $640m+ in the game. Money is not an issue.

Aah I think you’ve found our run on YT from the comment:

We make numerous execution errors but still make it, our overall plan though was good.

The main thing for me that makes the 4 man elite challenge harder is everyone has to fill their loot bags. So that’s a minimum of 8 secondary targets you’ve got to check collect.

Knowing who is going to take which secondary targets and how much space they fill in the loot bags for me is as important as which approach you take.

You really don’t want to have to go further afield than the compound and the main docks. So ensuring you fill your bags efficiently is key. If you are lucky and get a couple of coke stashes at the main docks it’s easier. We had poor rng and got:

Compound: 1 gold, 2 painting, 4 cash

Main docks: 4 cash, 1 weed.

We took as follows:

Player 1: primary target, cash, cash, cash, cash

Player 2: painting, cash, cash

Player 3: painting, cash, cash

Player 4: gold, weed

The gold weed combo was really important. If our man who picked up gold had picked up cash, he wouldn’t have filled his bag, and would have needed to get a third stash. The problem then being that we were already utilising every secondary target available. If you didn’t work this out in advance, you’d be screwed not matter which approach you used.

If you’re lucky with rng and get a couple of coke stashed at the docs you may get away with improvising who takes what.

Then grind until u have 6 gold in compound. I had this setup once

I think what he means is that it's the challenge of getting a good time with 4 players, not interested in the take.

For me, the same team of us have got the Elite in every heist including the originals (where you HAD to do it with 4), so we really wanted to get the par time on all the Elites together.

Getting the Elite on this one looks easy to me if you do it solo. A 4 player elite is much more challenging and requires planning / communication to fill your loot bags. This is in contrast with for example with the Doomsday Heists where it was generally easier to do the elite with 4 players than 2. As @BeatsDown says, not that many people seem to have done a four man elite yet. Virtually all the examples I see of the Elite so far are solo or two players.

So yeah, for sure it's economically more efficient, and easier to get the par time with a smaller team on this one. But there's also the element of a challenge, and completing it with a group of friends, even if that's "suboptimal" compared to the money and time you can achieve with fewer people.

Looool, this is god tier rng, this means all 4 ppl will take full bags in compound.

4 ppl easiest one, you just need to get good rng, thats all.

Zero planning with needed rng.

Relying on rng sort of removes the challenge element I’d argue.

This is still easier solo, zero coordination required and can be done with two secondary targets rather than 8.

This whole dlc relies on rng. If someone wants better time he must first get god tier rng.

Not if you want for example get the Elite with three friends and aren’t bothered what time you get as long as you beat par time.

If you want a world record time then you’ll probably want good rng. But what you’re suggesting, if it’s 1/3rd chance of gold is several thousand to one to get all six golds in the compound. The vast majority of people are not going to be bothered to do that.

But it’s academic. You started by saying the optimal way to do the heist is with fewer people. That’s as maybe but we pointed out it’s more of a challenge to do it with 4 to players - which on the basis of the evidence, it is. That’s why it’s interesting. Fewer people will manage it with 4 players, and the times won’t be as good on average either.

Just going to parrot Jim, and say the 4-person Elite is by far the hardest to get. I planned all of the run I did with my crew and even had it all written down (I'm a nerd, I know). There's a reason there only seems to be a handful of people who have tried/attempted it. As for the 6 x gold in the compound, if that ever does happen then I'll sure give it a go but the odds on that happening are ridiculously high.

I had it once, i was surprised. Never knew it is possible. There was 6 gold, 1 painting, 1 money.
