Hello and welcome to the "85% club."

 

Having just hosted my first heist at our new (island mon!) location it really had me struck at how easy the whole thing was! I had a friend show me thru the preps, and when the finale came I decided to pay him 85%. He came out with a cool 1.6 million $$$

 

So fundamentally, we have the quickest, most highest paying heist to date if you think about it? What I would like to know here.. Is "Who can be the best host per-se" So for fun, let's see who can post the highest takes for their friends or randoms at 85%!!!

"Rules for submitting your 85%er"

 

1.) Be a member of gtaforums.com for over (3) consecutive months.

 

2.) Your post must include the exact number that player 2 received. Nothing like $1,600,XXX, $1,7XX,600, etc. 

 

3.) You post must include, at the bare minimum, the entry vehicle used. You can add additional information as you see fit. Including screenshots and video to add legitimacy.

 

4.) The rules are subject to change at any time and without notice.

 

5.) Questions, Comments, and hate mail are acceptable. Just follow the forums rules and play fun!

 

6.) Solo runs will be considered too! So don't be afraid to post those either.

 

7.) If you don't know what the honor system is...look it up!

i m not sure if it is the quickest since I didn t even start it yet but the casino heist can be completed preppin in less than 50m and you can easily get 1.75-1.8m+ with an 85% cut

Honestly, I didn't use the god forsaken Mk2 Oppressor a single time during the. Cayo Perico heist. Which is what makes the DCH heist so quick. And even when I do preps for casino I don't use that kiddy toy.. 

 

Soooo anyway! Check back in once you have hosted the new Cayo Perico heist and paid a friend or random 85%!!!!

While the preps for the Cayo Heist is quicker to do overall (whats with a mobile HQ and all). The Cayo scop-out probably takes the longest of any preps in the game and is by far the most boring mission in the game (imo).

Interesting topic. I like helping my friends make money so I slap 85% to them, although I tend to be a bit of a control freak and take the lead too much. But with good knowledge you can completely skip the Disruption (maybe remove weapons in case spotted during escape)

Great thread idea, but I would like to say that, if I am understanding you correctly, you gave your buddy 85%, which amounted to $1.6 million. So presumably, your take was about $290K? That means, your total take was a little under $1.9 million. Honestly? That is not the quickest, highest paying heist to date. The Casino Heist is still the king, in that regard. I can do my preps, solo in about 45-50 minutes, and the guy who I have been playing heists with for 6 months, @xInfected_Virus, is more experienced and can probably do them in 35 minutes total. Then either S&S or Big Con (always Gruppe Sechs!) and we ALWAYS get Gold or Artwork, never playing the heist if it's cash. We average a little over $1M each, 50/50 split, and the heist is always about 20 minutes. We can probably get the Elite for another $100K each. So if I am being conservative, with Elite most of the time, and almost always a little over $1M each without Elite, sometimes a drop under if we don't get full take, it's easy to see that you can get an average of $1.1 Million each in a two player Casino Heist for 40-50 minutes of Prep + 20 minutes of Heist, for a total of 60 to 70 minutes of time.

 

Oh and that's not even counting when Diamonds are available!

 

Again, I still love your thread, and maybe in a few months, new tactics and techniques will come out that truly will make the Coyote Pecker Heists more profitable than Casino Heists. But right now, at least, I don't see that as true.

If you would like to post your single highest solo runs I would be fine with that too. So this topic can be a reference sheet if you will of highest solo / 85% cut Cayo runs... And regarding the scope out for the island, well, it varies so much.. It can take you 5 minutes or 1 hour. 

 

@ChiroVette Absolutely! Damn near hit the nail on the head with those numbers about my first play thru. I took about $330k + the 1.6M for my friend. For the sake of argument though(and for the time being) the prep times for both the diamond heist and Cayo P. Are so closely timed it just comes down to the 85%. I'll be attempting to host just my 2nd heist today. Primary target: 1.1M / Secondary 1.2M. I only spent 5 minutes on the island scoping out so we will see whay happens.

Great info, thanks, @NULL AND VOID! I am purposely spending a lot more time than I need to...lol, and quite frankly, than I want to, on the island, scoping things out. I am trying to simply get the lay of the land now. I had a really bad taste in my mouth from my first Cayo heist finale and scoping, but I am open to the possibility that I may have been wrong about a lot of it. I have a ton of money, so I ma not going to rush the heists. I want to teach myself how to to them, and maybe I will hook up with some of my many PSN friends, some of whom don't have a submarine, and maybe learn together with them.

The scope out is extremely boring, the island hard to look at. Low FPS... I get on this island it makes me verrrryy sweeepy and I pass out on my sofa. But anyway... With every subsequent heist attempt, you should be spending less and less amount of time at this heist location.

 

For example, let's say you spent 60 minutes scoping the first time. 2nd time should be 50.mins. Then 40, then 30.. Then around say the 5th time you host this heist there should be no reason to be.running around like a feign looking for a crack pipe. 5 or 10.mins on the scope out and just freakin leave!

 

The first or 2nd piece of intel you find on the island. Let THAT dictate your heist approach. Don't try to get everything, everytime. You simply cannot use it all.

The entire thing can be completed in three hours or less. From Gathering Intel to Escaping the Island. All Solo. 

 

The payout is insane, all these Grinding guides need to be rewritten with "buy a Sub"

I might have to take down my score since it was the first time I hosted the heist.

 

Still looking for anyone who wants to post their take while paying a friend 85% during the heist.

 

I have since hosted the heist a 2nd time, my teammate paid received almost $100k less than the first time. (1.53M) 

 

My first complete solo run net was 1.39M and that was REALLY FUN. Just about an hour ago... Now starting 4th run
