I keep losing the Sniper Rifle ammo, is there a way to fix it?

Costs 75k to buy every time. Always resets to 70/10 after working for a while. Is there any way I can try to fix it?

I already asked Rockstar support multiple times. They wrote me crappy solutions like "verify game files" that didn't work at all.

It happens to me when I quit a job from the lobby screen or get kicked from the lobby screen

 

When it happens I close the app and play something else. Been going on a year or two at least by now

The way to fix it is for Rockstar to fix their d*mn game...but we all know that's not happening. Just have to eat the cost I'm afraid. Happens to a lot of people with different weapons too. Not sure what the cause is.

Bugs that give us money unintentionally - Patched immediately.

 

Bugs that cost us money - Ignore list.

 

This has to be more than 2 years old now, FFS. The best way to avoid most instances of it happening is not to quit out at a mission/job loading screen and renter the job then quit out via the phone.

 

Course, if players kick you from that loading screen, nothing can be done to stop it. And it surely must suck for players wanting to play the mission/job to see players quit because they'll lose if they quit during the waiting screen.

I grinded heists for a couple weeks leading up to the DLC and sure enough my rifle ammo kept dropping to a very low level. My fix, I don't use any rifle but my MK2 with explosives.

I lose my Combat MG ammo every time I join a "Random" job through my phone. $14k each time.

If you have a gunlocker: Fill up your ammo, take all of your snipers and hide them with it, then switch sessions, take the sniper rifled you want back out and your ammo should stick again.
