Spas-12 and Perico gun

I’ve just seen a loading screen about the Spas-12 being available to buy on Ammu-Nation, went and it wasn’t anywhere. Searched a little and found some people on reddit that you have to find them during the heist to be able to buy them. Can anyone confirm this and, if so, shine a light to where they can be found for the rest please?

I know you have to find the shotgun and pistol during heist and after you complete the heist you have to buy the shotgun at ammunation

You have to find a guard sleeping on the map while adventuring around a lobby and then find the key card in order to acquire the pistol during the heist. The shotgun then becomes available for purchase after completion of the heist itself.

For the pistol you need to get the key from the sleeping guard who spawns randomly around the map(in a few fixed locations obviously) after doing this start the heist and enter El Rubio's office and go behind his desk to open the drawer using the key. The pistol is now yours when you return to freemode.

For the shotgun you need to check around El Rubio's compound, there's already a video on Youtube showing some possible locations (it's random too) but to give you a tip try to pay attention to the floor near any type of wall, the shotgun is always laying vertically against a wall or surface. The shotgun won't be in your inventory upon return to freemode but it'll be available to buy at ammunation for a "moderate" price and you can buy a suppressor and a flashlight for it.

…a shotgun that's outclassed by other options, from what I can see, and a pistol with next to no use because the Marksman Pistol exists, along with the Heavy Revolver Mk.2...

I'm not even sure I want them!

Is the new shotgun that bad? I haven't been able to test it against players yet

Looks like this topic ended faster than I expected hahaha, thanks to both for the help.

What kind of pistol is it?

Single shot per reload, high damage but people say it's sh*ttier than the Heavy Revolver MK2, if you're asking about what gun it's based on then I don't know.

Are the other shotguns as cool as an SPAS-12 tho?

I rest my case.

You're right about the pistol tho.

It based on the fictional gun from 9th Bond movie, The Man With The Golden Gun.

Scaramanga's_Golden_Gun.jpg

It belongs to films main antagonist Francisco Scaramanga, a wealthy private assassin who lives on his own private island (just like Juan Strickler)

The shotgun is available after the heist, but you need to find it at El Rubio's mansion

I haven't either, but I'm just going off it's data and considering there's no "drum mag" option, it's pretty meh versus something like the Saiga 12 or AA-12.

I think the SPAS-12 is cool sure... but I think a Pancor Jackhammer is cooler. And for "modern day", "tactical" weapons, how about a SPAS-15?

I'm definitely getting the shotgun,SPAS 12 is my favorite shotgun,I've been waiting for over a decade for it to GTA.

I'm kinda disappointed about the handgun being a single shot novelty weapon,so I probably won't bother getting it.I would have preferred something like Colt Peacemaker, Walther PPK, Tokarev or Glock 17.

El Rubio has a 3rd nipple confirmed!

But seriously any dataminers figure out the sleeping guard locations?

Another member made a post about the Perico Gun with a video of the locations.

I found mine sleeping at Hookies. Had to search him twice to get the key.

I would love a damn glock tbh and idk why they haven’t added it yet. Gta 3 had the spaz didn’t it? And San Andreas too? I wish we had the option to fold the stock tho. It looks more stylish like that.

I think SPAS 12 was in GTA VC, SA and VCS.If I remember correct, the one in GTA 3 was pump action, but maybe it was modelled after SPAS 12 too,it did look similar.

I hope they release a Glock in a future DLC,or put it in the next GTA game if this was the last DLC.Full auto Glock 18 would be cool too.

Before we knew what the ceramic pistol was I was hoping it could’ve been the AP pistol mk2. that’s honestly how they should do it in my opinion.

The Spas12 is an 80s-90s action movie icon, that’s why it was in multiple past GTAs and why they brought it back as an homage to that and the fact the entire heist is a send-up to 80s druglord movies. The 15 loses a lot of the visual appeal of the 12.

Yeah you're right and it does fit the theme... I just wish it was perhaps shooting "heavier rounds" or something to be a bit more competitive.

It basically bridges the gap between a pump action and a full auto shotgun. It performs about as well as it should. The only issue is the price; there is literally no reason for it to be over a quarter-million quid. It’s a lower-capacity alternative to the assault shotgun, so it should be around the same price. $25,000 would be pushing the limits of what it’s worth.

Yeah,I thought it was gonna be based on the glock too,the name Ceramic Pistol sounded like reference to a "porcelain Glock 7" mentioned in Die Hard 2.Though I do still like it,it's based on H&K P7,which is one of my favorite handguns.

I had no idea about that reference. That’s a huge missed opportunity to play off of that smh

I take it the golden gun isn't actually a one-hit kill on all living things?

Devs, 100 hours playing slappers only vs endless Oddjobs as punishment.

Also its whole thing was that it broke down into a zippo etc, IF ONLY THAT WAS USEFUL AT SOME POINT OF PREPPING THIS HEIST
