Learn to CLOSE the matchmaking, morons

How are people 120+ and still doesnt know change the damn matchmaking to "Closed" from "Open". Yeah I know, you are modders. All of you. Everyone that hides their profile and are a high level is not a legit player. Period.

 

The problem here is if you keep the Matchmaking "Open" randoms join from searching for a random job through the phone for example. On Call or directly into the session.  Doesnt matter. And with R* bad matchmaking they get stuck in loading screen etc and have to restart the game.

 

If you want to play Heists with your damn friends, change the Matchmaking=Closed and Autoinvite=Off. That way only the people you manually invite will be able to join and that will save everyone time in a game that waste peoples time in the loading screen so damn mutch anyway.

Probably not. The guy in level 975 hiding his profile must hide it just for fun I guess. Not to hide that he registered yesterday.

My guy, 975 is a very legitimate rank that is possible to obtain. I've been playing for 7 years and am 971, and I know people who are legitimately 1200+.

I'm rank 1179, lol. And plenty on these forums long passed that number. The game has been out ages.

 

Sure, there are some that cheese it, but many don't and some just prefer privacy with their social club account. Rank means little on jobs when players can rank up in one area really well but in other areas that they play less, can still look green/a bit if a noob.

 

But I do agree that players could save themself some hassles by learning how to switch of matchmaking. Trouble is, R* don't mention it and many just don't look to see what settings are available.

It really is annoying when you're looking for a quick activity and you get kicked like 5 times in a row because the host was too dumb to close the matchmaking (oh god the loading screens). Closing the matchmaking is the first thing I do when soloing a mission or doing a run of the CP heist and that should be the standard tbh.
