LudaPecurka
Glass in vehicles I edit sometimes gets bugged and nothing renders under it. Method to fix that would be to rearrange objects and materials so the transparent ones are the last. But either I don't understand that concept, or it's just poorly explained in that one random topic I found online. Either way it doesn't work. Here is an example of Elegy chassis glass being unable to render a roof tune: https://imgur.com/1bSEbx3 please do help cuz Im going to fkng lose my mind if I keep trying alone. j7n
This might be similar to the situation I encountered. Although I don't quite understand the example, and the objects involved in it. The Chassis object disappears if it contains some transparent materials, such as glass windows, layered headlights, scratches or decals; anything with an alpha value different from 255. A solution is to detach all glass and similar from the chassis to another node. Or to detach the parts that visibly disappear. Place the seam between objects where it causes least visible gap or overlap, considering that in multiplayer at high coordinates >10,000 object nodes will jitter with respect to one another. I know that, I had such problem before. It can be fixed by using glass material from original model. But that is not what I was talking about in this post. I wilI be more specific now. I talked about roof tune for Elegy from Wheel Arch Angels shop. I turned that roof tune into rollcage which uses primary color material from Elegy chassis. Problem is that glass material from Elegy chassis wont render primary color material that roof/rollcage tune uses. Glass on windshield and doors does render it though. Maybe its because hierarchy, expect I dont know how to change it in any way.
