Dr Busta
Los Santos:- Gangwars Las Venturas:- Gambling and The OTT Mafia theme San Fierro : it's my favorite I don't know why I just love it it got something special and its story was pretty good CJ putting his first step into becoming a big business man and giving his family a better life I also love importing cars Edited April 23, 2021 by DR:BUSTA
Lioshenka
Los Santos, bizarrely enough, because of the ghettos. It's a very nice and homey atmosphere there, R* clearly failed at making it seem overly dangerous I love running along the pavements around Grove street, especially in the evenings. San Fierro - because it's clean, literally and figuratively. It's nice to be around the streets with tidy lookalike houses, but also the said streets are straight, with tall light buildings. Just a rather nice environment to be in, although not particularly welcoming. Clinically clean, if you see what I mean. Las Venturas - because of the desert. Arguably the best area in the game to go off roading. Or to ride a Freeway down the deserted road while listening to The Dust. Lemoyne outlaw
los santos. i love the atmosphere of it. the beach and ocean. the rich shopping areas. and the whole ghetto area. its fun to drive around and take in the sights. the watts towers are cool. san fierro. it reminds me of saint denis from red dead redemption 2. which is great because i love sd. i love the weather in san fierro. and some of the districts are cool. i love the rainbow flags. even though im not gay. i just love rainbows. so its always cool to see while driving by. i also really like the bay area too. las venturas. i love the desert atmosphere. and the strip. i also like some of the suburbs. and the golf course. the strip mall at creek is nice. and of course you cant forget the casinos. Official General
* Los Santos - I like it for the hood areas. The hood is where I feel at home, just watching the homies on the street corners hangin' out, smokin' weed and drinking beer, or the scantily-dressed sexy hoes walking by strutting their stuff, watching the lowriders drive past, and then the street crime and gang shootouts for action. I also like the brilliant orange sky in sunset. * San Fierro - I like it for the stunningly beautiful scenery and peacefulness. Amazing building architecture and designs to marvel at, and the many green sections of the city make it all the more pleasurable. I also like the foggy mist that occurs every now and then. * Las Venturas - The Strip for obvious reasons. The bright lights of the casinos and the promise of riches. The surrounding desert areas are nice to explore too. Algonquin Assassin
Los Santos - I really like the ghetto part of the city, but everything else from Downtown westwards not so much. San Fierro - Um probably the Northern part I guess? I don’t like San Fierro so picking something I like about it is like trying to draw blood from a stone. Las Venturas - Phew. The only city in the game I like every part of, but especially the strip. That looks amazing. Lioshenka, santosvagos and iiCriminnaaL

Especially with mods, it looks and feels even much better. But it is no longer quiet in my game now though, I got gangs from LS now operating there, they cause crazy shootouts every now and then, bringing more action to the city. iiCriminnaaL and Dr Busta
Fake Lilina
I can't answer this, because I never unlocked San Fierro or Las Venturas. Edit: What?! REVENGE777
Honestly, I didn’t really care too much about las venturas. Vegas in real life never appealed to me. It looks interesting but everything is so spaced out and open with nothing really going on.
GhettoJesus
Los Santos: Probably the gang wars and the ghetto atmosphere. I just wish it had more suburbs and they put territories there instead of putting turfs on the beach and Temple where they don't look realistic (to me) at all. San Fierro - My favorite city of the three, it feels like a real city. Hard to explain but its design is well done and nicely detailed. Las Venturas - The Strip and the blackjack in the casinos are the obvious main attractions. It also has plenty of pretty unexploited areas that could have served well in missions like its suburbs or that Chinese mall. AIcatraz
Los Santos: Honestly this is my least favorite city, it can be hard to navigate with all of the Ballas shooting you (and i'm too lazy to take back the hood) San Fierro: I really like SF, the atmosphere is perfect (specially when its raining) and it is home to one of my favorite missions in the game (import / export), it was really well thought out Las Venturas: I like Area 69... thats it Dr Busta
Big_Smiley
Los Santos- SA has been the only gta to truly capture the sh*tty hood environments seen plenty around the large neighborhoods of LA of the time. About everything DJ Pooh did with the Houser brothers to capture LA's f*cked up vibe in the hood they chose the right dude for the story (LS section) Even about punk ass CRASH aswell and how corrupt this sh*t was in reality with every hitups on the street. About the only thing they needed more was 24/7 constant helicopters checking up around the hoods and random drive by's but I guess mods take care of that part San Fierro- Plenty of spaces to move around with up and down the hilly roads, have some nitro in a car and mess around with the cops while a homie shoots back at them. Atmosphere is refreshing from all the violence going on in LS. Street gangs are much calmer here in SF unless provoked. The gant bridge in the game has remained my favorite attraction in SF since it's release nearly 20 years ago. Crazy to think how much space it takes for it to load properly with that little easter egg you can spot down the diner cafe. Las Venturas-The strip looking at the time of the year SA was released was ahead of time like I said before. Almost a spitting image of the actual locations. The casinos are grate to place some bets. If you run out of money CJ will fall under debt and start getting attacks from random thugs. I love messing around little the golf courts in prickle pine doing some Donuts with the Monster then hitting every golf cart passing by. If it escalate into something else then it ends up in a large shoutout with the LVPD that Immediately spawn out of nowhere, lmao. Then if we manage to survive, head out to the freeways where all hell breaks loose due to traffic AI being f*cked up as it can get. Having street gangs in these other locations besides LS whether with the use of glitches or mods make everything three times as fun like @Official General mentioned. With the right set up, these homies add a life to the cities if your up for a little more shootouts than normal. vcfan1991
I like the crisp ocean breeze in San Fierro as I stand along the coast with the sunset in my eyes... I like the cold dew on the grass in the mornings in Wheatstone while I heat the kettle on the stovetop. I don't like the dry hot air and acrid sand of the desert but I love the smell of stale urine on the steps at Market Station on a Saturday morning. Guest
Los Santos - The ghetto atmosphere, plot, and gang warfare. San Fierro - The story arc, but that's it, SF just feels bland for me. Las Venturas - The desert, the strips, plot, gambling, and the casinos, to name a few. My fave out of the three due to how well-designed it is. Evil empire
Los Santos: I love the city overall, it is very diversified and consistent at the same time, I particularly like the ghettos especially the Vagos territories on the hills San Fierro: I like this mix of freedom and quietness the city gives Las Venturas: I like the desert and its ghost towns, it always reminds me of the western movies and it's particularly enjoyable to explore on a freeway during these nights with the purple sky. This is how I felt my first playthrough but upon replaying it I came to like the city. Its the sheer amount of unique assets I think. Not just signs but even stuff on the side of the road. You can tell they worked on it last because It feels rushed but also like it was done by people experienced. The desert is also iconic. It is RS condensed world design perfected. It's crazy how many angles you can view an area from that make it look like a completely different area. Los Santos is great for it's sheer variety, even if it isn't all used too much. There are so many distinct feeling areas. I've never explored the country area before the betrayel so in my head it's apart of the SF island. My favorite is Sanfierro. It has so many secrets jammed into it. Plus the roads are a blast to drive around you need to keep track of your cars position and your cameras too. Plus the countryside. I feel like it's not as iconic as the desert it it's still definatly a hoot and put to great use in the side missions Edited May 1, 2021 by Flymystical-DJ Love for the Countryside A8ul99 and Lioshenka

I'm probably the least familiar with LV, aside from mission routes, because i've never been fond of just going there when playing casually. The desert area is probably my favourite part(s) of LV though, and i always remember doing Vigilante there in a hunter while listening to K-DST years ago. LV itself has a lot of unique areas especially with how the light up at night. The main attraction to LV for me was the regular affulent areas where you could easily get basically any fast car spawning at any TOD. Casinos are also fun, i'd spend a lot of time playing Black Jack. 18 hours ago, Flymystical-DJ said: I feel like it's not as iconic as the desert it it's still definatly a hoot and put to great use in the side missions Yeah, they added trucking there which makes it a lot more interesting because of the long winding roads. Although it can be a pain in some areas because you can flip etc, but it's otherwise well used in my opinion.

SanFierroTriad
Los Santos - I like the ghettos in the east side of the city, Grove street and stuff. I also like the west side of the city, I only wish it was used more. San Fierro - It's cool because on the surface it seems like a quiet, peaceful, happy city, with gay pride and hippies. But underneath, there's a criminal underworld. San Fierro is a major hub for drug trafficking, and there's a gang war between the Triads and Da Nang Boys. Las Venturas - I like that it's the city of money, there's multiple gambling minigames in multiple casinos, and that everything you pay for (except pay and sprays) is marked up 20%.
