General consensus on "modded" jobs?

I'm not gonna mention these tools, but what is your stance on the "modded" jobs, like races, custom game modes and contact missions?

Are the "advanced tools" frowned upon and are considered abominations, are they a lesser evil compared to cheater tools or do you consider and use them sometimes?

If you are talking about mods that only work in the content creator, those things are good for the GTA community.  The occasional person might make a troll "mission", but they usually get banned quickly.  But if anything, we need those mods.  The majority of jobs created with these tools are infinitely better than R*'s own creations, and are extending the life of the game (more than some half-arsed heist).

I did love some creations that used Helloween weather, invisible, ice roads and custom game props, that aren't available normally, like Arena or SP props in a land race, making it a interesting experience.

What i really love is the ability to copy assets in text XML form and be able to share it, saving the game performance and not immediately crashing a PC when loading everything at once.

 

Unfortunately, there are lame booster traps around, that is the little nightmare kingdom of a cheater.

It's sad really on Rockstar's part on restricting the community so much. The tools are right there, just locked away. I've personally done some captures that function like contact missions and the only difference between them is the gamemode name

Now that we unfortunately found out, that Go-Karts aren't allowed in races officially, I do hope, there will be people doing some modded tracks.

I suspect we're going to get rockstar-made go-kart races soon

According to Broughy, we won't get any gokart races soon, but i'd love to, if tez2 could disprove that.
