VercettiGuy
I've asked myself this question and wanted to hear your POV. I'd think about it more before I buy something that I can't get rid off. I have so many things in online that I bought and never used: The yacht, bunkers, warehouses. I should have informed myself more before buying that stuff. Also, I wouldn't sell cars to get quick money. I used to do that all the time because I couldn't wait to get something new. I'd take much more time with getting new things. I'd even love to start off with a rusty beater car and then work my way up, other than start with some Schafter etc. Last but not least, play more relaxed. Maybe walk sometimes. Take it all in. Just looking at the city at night, walking on the boardwalk. I imagine that's just awesome. (80s VC) So, what would you do different compared to how you did things in GTAV Online? MrBreak16
Create a crime organization with a bunch of other people and than take over every illegal businesses in the city. We make the other players work for us, they get paid we sell the merchandise, everyone profits and we become rich Dr Busta
universetwisters
Get rid of any concept of a monetized GTA Online and go back to the "have fun do whatever with unstructured activities" format that IV's multiplayer had NightmanCometh96 and Dr Busta
6fangedcutthroatTV
Controls. The character controller is why I do not play online. Great for sim, trash for online play. Loading times and lobbies being longer than gameplay. No reason to play that when cod is load and go, responsive controls. Gta o is unresponsive slow to get into a game. Feel throttled by it. Chore to play. Chore to even get into a game, then a chore to control it. Bs mechanics all around, poor execution. Need to have no life of my own to enjoy that game in its current form IMO, better to play other titles. It needs massive overhaul. DexMacLeod
It's hard to say how I'd play the game not knowing anything about it yet. Assuming it's essentially a carbon copy of current GTA Online just in a different place? I'd probably try and find a solo public session glitch sooner. seth297
gta 6 online will be the exact same as the current online why fix what aint broken i expect modern day vice city and probably liberty city like the current online casino nightclubs offices arcades warehouses etc. if anything i see gta 6 map as the map unofficial map expansion to the current online side by side updates i see us being able to transfer our players over to gta 6 online . gta 6 will be an expansion not a replacement for online the proof of that them releasing gta v /online for this gen. Dimitry Rascalov
What would I do different in GTA VI Online, simple don't add a bunch of completely stupid and unrealistic crap into it like flying cars, aliens, laser weapons, rocket bikes, jet packs. All of that is moronic, this isn't saint's row. It's like a stupid mashup of serious gameplay vs stupidity. Some of the features they have in GTAO are awesome and I hope they put them into the next game but I think IV had the best tone for the game which was real Gritty. It would also be better for an economy rebalance standpoint as buying a coat for 30 thousand dollars was stupid, money should be much harder to obtain with larger paying crimes being harder to execute with a lot more risk. But it is broken and desperately in need of fixing. The economy makes no sense, the car classes are a mess, and the various "upgrades" and tweaks they've made to vehicles are all over the place. I don't see them carrying all that over into the GTA 6 version of Online. Even if they were to fix all of that it's still a mess of a game to try to jump into for the first time. GTA 6 will bring a lot of new people to it and Rockstar will want to keep those people around. Having everyone start as equals is the best way to do that. There's also the fact that the next version of Online will likely be expected to last for at least the next two console generations. That'll be much easier to do when starting from scratch and milking all the old content out over time. MrBreak16
Zello
They're gonna make you start all over. They won't let you transfer your character and if they do you they aren't going to let you keep all their money and assets lol. The online protagonist ends up in a new city or arrested I expect all of their businesses to be shut down, and all of our money and assets to be seized by the government. I think that they'll introduce face scans for character customization. Hire NPCs for jobs because either human players keep on joining and quitting or are just terrible. NPCs would help get jobs filled up and started. Their skills though would differ cheap NPCs you hire will always be an liability and die but the pricey ones will be somewhat more decent. A human player will always be superior though. Businesses need to be reworked it's mainly buy building, buy supplies, sell supplies, hope some asshole don't blow you up, repeat. That sh*t gets boring. There needs to be some more excitement. How about relationships with our supplier? They want you to double the amount that you're selling in a limited amount of time or they kill you or some sh*t. You on good terms with them they'll send some NPC muscle to back you up or some other crap. Maybe they think you're stealing from them so they start attacking you too. Dont like them get rid of them and find a new connect which brings new opportunities and problems the next guy in line from whoever you killed remembers and wants revenge, the new supplier is at war with your old supplier so their problems become your problems, etc. There also needs to be an online story. Think something similar to the RDRO story but better and with a bit more depth. Maybe be able to choose more backgrounds for our online protagonist. Original Online Protag from V, Ex-con, local gang member from the city, Mobster, hired gun, etc. There also better be less menus and loading screens.
