Krommer
Anyone else having 10x the trouble with this in the snow? I've heard some other posters saying they don't want to bother with hunting now. I mention this because the 20 carcasses in 10 minutes have come up a few times, with the snow! The weird thing is, I'm seeing all of the "pronghorn" tracking trails still around Hennington's stead (tons of them, with them easy to see anyway, of course) but I'm not even SEEING tracking trails for the usual things there like Jackrabbits, squirrels, etc; it is like not only are they hard to spot, but those critters left with the snow??? I still have plenty of birds, especially ravens (the "crap" bird of RDO), but the permanent "haze" means that I usually only spot birds in the air when using "Eagle Eye" and their brighter blips show up. netnow66 and kcole4001
kcole4001
There has been far fewer rabbits the last few days. I filled my wagon with ducks and geese instead.
zPhoenix
Update: I have been getting the 20 carcasses in 10 minutes a lot. It is still annoying but not as much as it used to be. This is how I am handling it now: I no longer sell or donate my small carcasses regularly. I save them for this and the 10 small carcass dailies. I currently have about 40 small in my pouch and rising. I go hunting with the cart and catch 10 medium animals of any quality, whatever I can find fast. Then I dismiss the cart with the 10 carcasses. I then hunt 1 large and 2 small carcasses on the horse. Finally I quickly turn in: 10 from the cart, 3 from the horse, and 7 from the pouch. Daily done and I start saving up small carcasses again, for the next time. And yes, it is much harder to hunt small and medium in the snow. The permanent fog is very annoying, and the snow even interferes with the ability to see tracks on the ground. For an easier time look at the riverbanks and water. Edited December 26, 2020 by zPhoenix kcole4001
