Like Pavel has working eyes right? I did the first of the missions 11 hours ago and I went back online to get the second but instead I get a call from Tom to get stuff for a different DJ and then waiting over an hour for a call from Dave. I did a Ms Baker freeroam mission, collected weapons for my casino heist and f*cked a hooker but still haven't had the call.I f*cking hate waiting hours for no reason just to unlock a damn car. Force closed the game, hasn't called since. I'm getting really f*cking sick of this glitch. I'd say it's one of the worse that the game has had. WHAT!? Posted December 25, 2020 Share Posted December 25, 2020 Has anyone else noticed that 2dfx and LOD objects in Los Santos load in a hell of a lot closer to the player since this update? I was already having odd pop in issues prior to the drop but it seems to have gotten noticeably worse since the new island was added. Not to mention, I have traveled to the section of the map where Cayo Perico would appear if it were not masked to the player while LS is loaded... There is weird phasing that happens there (screen glitches and shows/flickers to darkness, then comes back). Not to mention I clearly see the lanterns located on the pillars in the compound floating in mid air out in the ocean while LS is still loaded in. Something ain't working right, Chief. Not trying to do the humble brag, but honestly with my system specs there is no reason I should be having any kind of performance issues on a game released for PC five years ago. I don't know how you'd open the lock without having that cutting torch, perhaps its just as quick, I've never tried any other method. My assumption is that you'd have to acquire the bolt cutters from somewhere on the island before entering the compound, which is the entire beauty of using the drainage grate I suppose. My problem will always be the damn guards and my lack of shooting or stealth skills. One of these days I'm gonna complete the heist, i'm roughly oh-for-twenty tries so far! The trees are swaying in the background so it's only a half freeze. Necklace Target Longfin / Drainage infiltration Main Dock Exfil (but going to airfield for $ loot and leaving via plane) PS5 Can quit and start again but same issue. Will try different escape see if it still happens. *Edit Changed Exfil to airfield, it worked,no freeze. Fixed an issue that causes Manchez Scouts to spawn at or near the Airstrip. Manchez Scout spawns have been placed in their correct location, beyond the main checkpoint. Fixed an issue that caused NPC boats to spawn near El Rubios Compound during the Heist. Fixed an issue that caused a Guard Tower to spawn in the wrong location. The main Checkpoint Guard Tower has been moved back and against the wall. Talk about utter stupidity in game design, but thankfully I realized it right away since the game only put one "$" symbol on the map. I had the immediate brainstorm to take a second photo and see if a second "$" symbol would appear, and sure enough, it did. Then again, I'm sick of this heist and won't be repeating it, so who cares. Second time I load next to a hooker so I go and f*ck her and then register as a ceo and get the call seconds later. Third time I load in already registered as a ceo and I'm not getting the call so I retire and reregister to see if that helps but the second I retire I get the call and when Dave is done talking I get a notice at the top of the screen saying since I'm not a ceo anymore I can't participate in this vip work. After that I closed the game and went back online again spawning next to hookers so I go f*ck one of them and then register as a ceo but still no call so I go get another hooker and then I drove around for another 10 minutes and still haven't got the call again.
