Even then, the virgin lootbags seem to only hold up to 300-400K of loot at best so I don't know how you're supposed to get that 5-6 million potential take anyway. The Chad Lootbags from th Casino heist could hold more.

I was thinking this over last night and I came to the same conclusion. With more people you technically get less even if you just collect the easy to grab stuff like Paintings in the Office or Weed.

Yeah, I'm waiting for some of my friends to become available and hope that their computers won't explode upon entering Cayo Perico (my rig can handle it, but God Damn the fans speed up from time to time. Don't worry, temps are still cool...ish). Then we'll just have to see if team mates' lootags have higher capacity or else it's just counter-intuitive and assholish from Rockstar.

I admit, Maths is not my thing but any way I do it Solo always comes out with more cash. Even if you steal all the Gold and get the highest value Primary Target. Stealing the Primary Target and stealing the Weed Solo nets you more money.

Also another thing I wan tto B&M about (I know I'm on a roll today, the DLC has some good things after all).

f*ck this guy. The only reason he's alive is because his dad's cool as all hell. Why am I doing missions for this hipster doofus with a stupid floopy-doop-ass haircut? MAYBE if he had the decency to visit MY nightclub and not some dickass Casino nightclub I might've considered it.

 

Now had it be MARTIN in person I would've been there. Every day. He could've even ended the heist at the Golf club with a "FORE!" or just give us the good old "Brilliant brilliant brilliant! I love you! In appropriate way that is!"

 

And even then he would've had a better reason to know us, taken note of how we've moved up in the world and gotten more resourceful and then ask for our services to handle a problematic supplier.

 

But no, we get f*cking Miguel.

 

Pavel is love, though.

I think the majority of us when initially hearing about the setting of this update were expecting a lot more in terms of vehicles - given it's a f*cking drug lord I was personally expecting vehicles along the lines of old school BMW E28's, Merc W126's, sh*t even another rip off older Porsche would've made me happy. There's a metric sh*t ton of potential for vehicles that would tie into the update, instead what do we get? One singular supercar that at first glance looks like just about every other f*cking supercar in the game, some gimmicky go karts that will get driven once and left in a garage for eternity, and the rest of it ain't even worth mentioning.

Yes I agree where was the Mercedes W126 & W140, classic Porsche 911 without BS mods by Rockstar Games, like how they destroyed the Comet Retro before.

I'd of loved a Jaguar XJS convertible and more classic 80s cars. I really don't understand who makes decisions at Rockstar games and this sick obsession for weaponized crap all the time, muh Sharkcard sells.

disagree... whit the sub model the devs don't have to think about how to develop a game that makes people buy MTs.

I'll just point you to WoW for an example but MMORPGS were sub based for years.

Somehow this Miguel feels very familiar to another character in the game! He has a hipster feel around him! If anyone got the same gut feeling and know who it is, it would be helpful!

Considering the fact that the new Nightclub is on the Casino, I think it's safe to say that it's addition made the resale value of the property to raise up, so technically our characters are okay because they're making money with it.

 

Even though we can't f*cking sell the Penthouses for no reason 🤦‍♂️

 

As side note: Has anyone noticed how sh*tTIER the new Nightclub is? Like good God, I get having to reuse assets here and there, but why did they had to make the whole place be even more cramped, dirtier and cheaper in general?

 

The f*cking VIP section is on the lower floor within the dance floor and close to the peasants, instead of high up in the higher floor, looking from above with a better view, and looking down them!

 

Our most basic Nightclubs are much better than this basic bitch of a Nightclub.

Yeah the Diamond's new nightclub looks like a crack den. 

I was expecting a more luxurious interior and much better VIP experience. Why won't Rockstar just unlock Bahama Mamas like everybody wanted.

Also still no fix for NPC phone stalking, with this update, I wish Gay Tony would just [email protected]#k off! I don't want to be a nightclub owner, on my second character, and I refuse to buy the space as I will regret it. Same way with Arena Wars Bryony and Paige.

So R* paid money to license the song "edge of seventeen" for a short f*ckin cellphone ringtone, but they couldn't re-license the song to keep it in gta iv's soundtrack? Wtf is wrong with these people?

Actually no. ESO's updates for example are literally whole new games added to the base one: huge map expansions, hundreds of new quests. What do you get for "free" as a GTAO player? 20 new missions/year (some years even less, like 2018) and some new cars? Not saying that it's 100% guaranteed that Rockstar will deliver huge quality, but paid dlcs can force them to up their game at least.

Not to mention that paid dlcs have the potential to remove boring grinding loops, paywalls or stuff like mk2.

This is kind of a minor Bitch & Moan, but even though the update was on Tuesday, I was still hoping for a dripfeed today. Just add a few more special sales in the vehicle sites, more importantly, I was really hoping they would buff something, like 2x VIP Jobs, Bunker sales, Nightclub Sales (lol do they even ever buff this?) 2x Special Cargo, 1.5x I/E, etc. Something! I really have no desire to play the Cayenne Paprika Heist again. Once through it was enough. At least for now. Maybe in a few weeks, when high quality guides and videos come out, showing shortcuts, tips, tricks, and workarounds for some or most of the tedium on that boiring-ass island.

 

Here's another bitch & moan, while on the topic: It's a real shame that the island has to be so mind-numbingly, oppressively limiting in terms of gameplay and exploration, because the artistic aesthetics on that island are some of the very best in the game. I thought a lot of the scenery, even the foliage, was stunning. Not that this is relevant, but the underwater environment was breathtaking, the little I explored.

While that may be the case for ESO, there are countless examples of companies selling crap ass DLC.

Thing is, they need some change in their system. CoD became a whole different experience after they switched to Fortnite mtx model. Rockstar seems pretty aware of those flaws since the last atrocious paywall was putting missiles on Mk2, but there are still things to improve.

I need to B&M, but it's mostly about my own stupid mistake and I bet most of you will shake your heads in disbelief over how absolutely STOOPID I was.

 

So I had a good target, Pink Diamond and I decided that "Hey, I've got guard outfits penned at a nice location and I'll just HALO drop without ANY disruption preps and hope for the best." and I know the Truck was unfortunately at the Compound but with an outfit I could move around fast enough.

 

I drop in near Main Dock, kill some guards, get outfit, pick up cash and weed. Get a jeep and... HEY! The Trucks driving TOWARDS ME! YAY! I snipe driver, take truck and full speed to compound! I enter no problem (They don't mind bloody windshield) and I take out everyone, head into front door of office and complete Hard fingerprint hack with 4 prints no problem. Collet diamond, sneak out and as I near the docks with no one spotting me yet, I think "I could get Weed to fill y mbag but it feels risky and I might miss elite challenge.

 

Heist compete, but I missed out on Elite Challenge because I didn't fill lootbag and I had more than 2 minutes to spare. God Damn it.

 

tl;dr I missed out on Elite Challenge because I was an idiot.

 

Still a good payday and I finally got my Golden Gun.

This. I already posted a few pages back, but I spent all Tuesday morning completing the preps and whatnot, then attempted the heist solo 3 times. Failed every time, haven't touched it since.

I hate how when you call the sub with a PV out, it places the sub icon ON your PV.

 

You have to call your vehicle back to storage, then call the sub, then get your vehicle....why can't it work like the Terrorbyte?

 

AND, when you go to the sub in a Buzzard and are flying fast towards the spawn location, the sub drops from the sky and bounces infinitely making it impossible to get in it. You have to recall the sub, and the sub icon is placed on the Buzzard....a never ending lesson in frustration.

 

I still feel like this entire DLC is still in beta.   :/

Not done with this DLC just yet but many, many things about it are driving me nuts:

 

- Rock-solid foliage, for why? They make this sprawling island that just begs you to drive instead of walk to get around. They leave vehicles everywhere. But to avoid cameras and patrols, you have to off-road, and every ten feet of off-roading means probably tangling with a tree or bush that looks like you can drive through it, but is secretly made of adamantium. And when most of the island vehicles except the dirt bike are clumsy, boxy, and slow, this is enraging.

 

- Being funneled through that stupid gate every time I do the scoping out. Ugh. The only way around it I've found is to steal a boat from the north dock and go around half the island to the main dock, which is, suffice to say, not a great workaround.

 

- The whole stealth nature of the scopeout mission makes me want to punch a baby. It's a cool atmosphere... at first. But about the fifteenth time you get spotted and kicked back to the gate or air strip, it is excruciating. Couldn't they have made this more forgiving? I especially hate the jackasses on the guard towers who spin around at random times and spot you from a mile away.

 

- The whole design that makes you think, "We're gonna take down 5 million!!!" No, you're not. And you'll only realize this when you start filling your loot bag with weed and realize the bag is full and what you stole isn't worth sh*t. The "potential" number shown at the end screen is like a cruel taunt.

 

- The points of interest. What the hell is this? I would like to do the guard uniform/truck infiltration, but the uniforms are apparently scattered all over the island; I have yet to find more than 2. There are no indicators or clues helping you locate them. And unless you find all four, it seems you can't do that infiltration method, even though you're running the heist with fewer people than that. Even solo, I can't select that as the infiltration method. WHY? It's just me, I only need a truck and one uniform! God knows I'll never do a wall-climbing infiltration if I have to find multiple grappling hooks, because I've set this heist up twice and scoped out that island for 4 f*cking hours and found all of one grapping hook, once.

 

- Stash locations with two things in them require two photographs, even if both photos are identical and taken from the same location. Brilliant. And the game doesn't tell you this, you just have to figure it out. How? I only know about it because my idiot friend was farting around and taking multiple photos of the same room for no clear reason.

So, jumping off the balcony into the sea after stealing the treasure of the week is deadly?!

Had a perfect and smouth "hard" heist, not detected and a bag full of goodies I stole before entering the compound. Stole the primary objective, sneaked out and figured to jump off the balcony and swim to safety.

 

Well, frakk no says the game and kills me the instant I touch the water, fails the mission, spawns me at a checkpoint (before I stole the PO, of course), removes half the value of my stolen goodies yet keeps my bag just as full...

 

Well f*ck you too.
