For what it is now the island might as well be some new heist only interior, such a waste really. Edit: Seems like we all can't read, the island is freely accessible after the heist according to rockstar. Makes it a bit better I guess.... All I've ever craved since 2013 is a new bit of land to explore. They make one after 7 years and then block it off for a mission only? Back in PS3/360 at least they stopped updating altogether but cutting a feature like traveling to the island? Quite a way of saying "hurr durr buy the new expensive and out of stock thanks to sh*tty people consoles or you're getting updates with cut content for a year" Can't forget that the PS5/Series versions won't be out until 2021 so console players are still stuck with this first piece of cut content until next year. Excruciating preps? Check? Repeating the heist several times required before you start seeing a profit? Check. Unique interior (admittedly a very big one) accessible only during the heist? Check. Opportunity to lose a significant part of the take? Check. Grind, grind, grind? Check, check, check. Know what I wish? We get a call, some NPC says, "Hey, need help, please drop $10M to come help me, it'll make you lots of money, I swear". We say "Nah, I'm good", hand the phone back to our butler and go back to deciding whether to snort coke off a hooker's ass on our yacht or in our luxury apartment. Or our casino penthouse. Or our nightclub. Or any of the supervillian-level properties we own. Because we're rich as balls and have no motivation to risk our lives, even for Madrazzo's kid. In fact, in my head canon, that's exactly how it plays out for me. Good luck out there, guys. Perhaps I'll join you if reports indicate that the new heist is at least fun to play and not just a new way for R* to send us on yet another mind-numbing grind. The last gen versions of this game can handle this stupid tiny-ass island, so why the f*ck does R* is locking access out of it? Also the vehicle selection is lack luster as hell.
