mmm chocolate
beach your submarine at vespucci on the sand and it will make flying the sparrow in the snowstorm/over water/coming close to it, much easier. (sit down at steering wheel, drive, then use trigger to accellerate) just try to angle it straight as possible to make it easy to land on. if the tail end is in the water it will sway a bit. which is also fine. also just figured out you can switch to any saved outfit when doing INTEL scoping the island. edit: if you beach your sub with the front end over the sand, you can land a buzzard on it and it stays put. meaning YOU DONT EVEN HAVE TO BUY THE SPARROW, (i do admit its useful though) I assume you can use a broomstick instead of a buzzard with this method one more: if you are doing the heist and intentionally kill yourself because you set off alarms, and you want to 'not restart' to get the elite challenge, when starting completely over (hitting CONTINUE instead of Quick Restart) and you get into your invite only lobby and there is no sub on the map, just go to ONLINE - Find New Session. (have your respawn point set to Kosatka, (from Interaction menu)) and you will spawn inside your sub ready to go again. much faster. Anthony145
Not really a tip, more observation, for non drainage tunnel entrances, the guard uniform seems to be the easiest way to go. Can pick one up usually at the airfield or other scoped out locations. Gives you free reign of the island and easy access. Once the primary target is stolen you don't even need to shoot the guards on your way out. You can reach close to the main dock before the time the alarm is raised. Where it's only a few to take out before stealing a boat. ALLWORLD19

Except when the game decides to screw you over, by placing several static guards around the uniform crate, like what happened last time i found them, and thought I'd try the uniform approach instead of the tunnel

ChiroVette
Thanks, @ALLWORLD19! Hey, since this is the T&T thread, can anyone tell me the easiest way to deal with the Juggernaut in the Weapons Disruption Prep? I actually am one of the few people who do the three optional preps because I suck at stealth, and until I learn, this makes it easier once I get spotted lol. In previous update missions, the Juggernauts are a lot esaier to deal with as my Oppressor and Sparrow lock on. Not only that, but this Juggernaut hides. I have emptied an entire clip or rockets on him, but they barely seem to touch his health, since he is behind an obstacle. When I try to get in close, his minigun is unstoppable. When I try to snipe him, he seems to have an uncanny 6th sense and I can't get at him with even the Heavy Sniper for a headshot. Any ideas and tips here? Wait, I tried this, but I thought when I did it, the prep was "completed" only because you don't get a second chance, as Pavel warns? My assumption is that it is only "completed" in that you can't go in anymore, and if I just changed sessions, it would be complete without any net effect on the weapons of the guards? Can you or someone else clarify this for me? Thanks! NULL AND VOID

Let me ask it this way. Is this a glitch of some kind? Meaning are you sure doing this completes the mission for all three Weapon locations, with the Juggernaut? That said, can anyone tell me, just so I know for the future when Rockstar patches this, how to deal with the hiding, running, always-behind-an-impenetrable-barrier Juggernaut? ambi3nt
Tbh it would be faster just to learn stealth instead. Just look at your minimap once in a while and that's all you need. You can kill any guards and destroy any cameras without limits. And heist has couple checkpoints, so even if you screw up at some section, you don't need to restart from scratch. Start solo and practice a bit. That's it. Buddy Hightower

Yes, unlimited flight time, roughly a third of the map flight distance from your Sub, RPG level damage but a much wider radius. Hahaha awesome! I will try this. Quick question: I know that according to some, if you simply find a new session right at the beginning, with any Disruption Preps, you get credit for completing it with a destruction of all targets. However, what if I destroy, say 2 targets, see I am running out of time, so I change sessions before the timer runs down. Will I still get all targets complete even if I did kill of some? My friend was playing with the GDM's and missed his target a few times so I left to SP, loaded back in and went to start it again and it was done. Edit - The GDM's have two seats meaning you can fire one, hit your target, get up and sit in the next seat and fire immediately and repeat.
