So where's the panther go? The cage is open for the heist, and some of us have heard panther noises around the docks, right?

 

I find this element of the heist (and eg the POI whale, dead shark etc) confusing as it seems to go nowhere?

Only 6? That sounds really low. When I did the challenge to scope everything I had 15 cash.

I finally found it.  It was a cash table at the north docks.  The room had two cash and one cocaine.  I ended up with 26 out of 26 secondary targets.

Day 1. Hour 1. Exploring my new submarine...

 

I asked my friend to shoot the guided missiles at me. God damn they are so cool! Turn up the volume towards the end of the video to hear the rocket screeching. :)

I had my friend not warn me he was gonna nuke some enemies in a Prep Mission when I first bought the Sub. All I heard was rocket exhaust and then everything f*cking exploded. Perhaps my favourite way of doing missions now is just watching as my friend nukes everything that moves.

A quick question as I may break out my second character who has been unused for years.

 

Do you need to own casino apartment to access the music locker, i.e. $1.5m (apartment) + $2.2m (sub) i.e. $3.7m in the bank to get started.

 

Obviously with my main character I had all the stuff from previous updates already so it wasn't obvious if there were pre-requisites.

No, although you need the penthouse or have to pay a nominal fee to enter the club, up to $150 dollars but less if dressed in high end outfits. 

 

You can trigger the initial heist cutscenes too, but after that you won't be allowed into the VIP area. :)

What shotgun pickup is it that spawns in the Sparrow area of the moon pool in the Kosatka? Sometimes it gives me 12 rounds other times 60, at first I though it was the Heavy Shotgun, but it's hard to see and gets collected by my character before I can get a close look. It spawns right and yo the front of the Sparrow on a ledge against the wall.

Theoretically, what's the highest possible take in secondary loot that you're able to obtain when playing solo on your very first playthrough of the Cayo Perico Heist finale (that is, by stealing the Madrazo Files from the safe)?

Same as for all the other heists..

Regularly: 2x Coke

IF you can manage the gold glitch: 2x Gold

 

For the correct amount, you have to look into the forums since:

The spreadsheet the thread-owner once created is obsolete. I have no idea why he has not updated yet (yet Ive suggested it and he liked my post..). Some people have already uploaded correct bag sizes / values but the threads are somewhere nowhere can find them. Its literally that the very first sticky in this forum containts wrong data which is out of all reason to me. Just one of the weird forum rules Ive noticed so far.

There is a cooldown of ~8 Minutes after you finished the heist. Don't go offline but wait for Pavel to call you to start the heist again. If you then start the heist again within a short time frame (only need to activate it, no need to scope out) the heist difficulty is set to "hard mode".

That will give you +10% on the primary target (Tequila is 990k instead 900k for example) but doesnt make the heist itself harder as far as I noticed.

hard mode also adds an extra puzzle to fingerprint scanner and gives you only one life

And the Elite Challenge pays out 100k in stead of 50k

How long is the cooldown for normal difficulty?

If you start the heist within 40 minutes or so after Pavel calls you, it'll be set on Hard. If you start it after those 40 minutes, it'll be set to Normal.

So I did the math, and judging by going solo on the very first playthough of the Cayo Perico Heist finale, the maximum possible payout is worth about $1,641,000-$1,699,000.

Just wait out the 40 or so minutes I guess but there shouldn't really be any differences between Normal and Hard except for the increased payout and one extra fingerprint hack.

You could also just logout and login. Going offline also turns off the hard mode.

Why would you go for the normal mode? Unless you are really bad in hacking, which is no problem if takes 1/2 minutes (also just needs a bit practice) you should go for hard mode all the time. It doesnt really make the heist harder but just gives you a better payout. I'd recommend to collect the keys to enter the basement via the basement door. Its only two hacks then.

log out of gta online then log back in and it should switch to normal

Yes, I did include the $50,000 bonus for completing the Elite Challenge on normal mode.

Thanks. I guess I don't know what keys are for what. Guards you kill drop one at times, there's one on the desk, there's one found (I've read) on a drunk guard in LS.

Three different keys

Gate keys = 1x available, opens the gates inside the compound. In my last like 20 attempts it was always one of the 'special guards' helding that key whose basically are on my route into the basement.

Key Cards = 2x available, opens the secondary loot rooms inside the compound. Only needed when going in as a team.

Small key you get in LS = Opens the smal chest with the golden gun. Only needed once for the golden gun.

Thanks Nog! I've gone in using the drainage tunnel and found a key or two from the guards, but when I try to escape to the main gate, all the gated doorways along the way are locked. Even the one's down by the vault.
