Hey, do you guys also get that special feeling when you are visiting the countryside/sandys hores? It's a feeling that i cant put my finger on. I dont know if its a RDR2 feeling. It's everything, the houses, the style, etc I am born and raised in Sweden. I live in a Swedish countryside and i get KINDA the same feeling at home but it might be so i dont know if it's some sort of "American" feeling. Here is one of many pictures that i also get a weird feeling from. It's not a bad feeling, it's just different and special. Sorry for being so deep guys haha.GTA5_NextGen_033_TrailerPark-256-360.jpg

I wouldnt call it a feeling. But I must say I enjoy it when we I take the highway out of the city. Not that there’s something more interesting in the countryside in this game but its always a welcome change from the city. I live in a small town myself.

If your getting a feeling by being out in sandy shores you might want to go see a doctor,  a good dose of penicillin may be needed.  On a serious note  I wish there was more to do in the country side of the map.

I’d be interested is some down trodden garages out of the city. The only reason I don’t have any outside of the city is due to needing space. Apparently nobody wants to own a 10 car garage outside of los santos...🤷🏻‍♂️

Not really, the countryside in 2004's San Andreas had more of that feeling I guess. Probably because those places felt more remote than Sandy Shores or Paleto and the atmosphere was better in SA.

I can see how someone who’s only ever lived in a frozen icehole would see desert and immediately think ‘old west’. To me it just gives off Bantustan vibes. Filthy, violent, rampant drug usage. Sort of place you’d see a dead kid rotting in a gutter and nobody would care.

Let me just start by saying I've been to that part of the US. I have actually recently moved there from Egypt. Did the game inspire me to go? Not really. But there is an odd charm to such a place. It reminds me a lot of home, well my old home shall I say except there is much more snow there than you might think for a desert.

Well, I can see how someone who's only ever lived in a hot warm place call Sweden a "frozen icehole". During the winter its rare that the there is snow everywhere. It's mostly in "Norrland" and "Lappland" (the northern part of Sweden) where it's alot of snow. :D

Not really, if I'm honest. There's not enough woodland or winding roads. It's all mountain apart from right next to Paleto.

I hate how the country is in gta5. Sandy shores and paleto is too small, they shouldve been a big connected countryside city. Soemthing That rivaled ls. Theres no reason to go to the countryside im gtao tbh. Wish the towns were set up like in gta sa

I know what you mean, I enjoy it when I am out there, it reminds me of how I used to spend a long time just driving in the countryside of GTA San Andreas.

Paleto Bay and the areas around Sandy Shores have that American small town feeling. Sandy Shores is a dump though, it's based on the Salton Sea which is a toxic abandoned wasteland.

I spend most time in the countryside, it's whats makes GTA V so great for me. Rockstar will hardly be able to top this in a future GTA.

I off road on my manchez a lot so I end up around that area one way or another....its nice.....they sould have done more with it, feels like only 1/3rd of the map is utilised....

when you spend hours in the main city, then right after visit the upper map; it feels like a breath of fresh air.

sometimes it just nice to see what you don't see as much since we are always in the city portion.
