I Think GTA VCS had one of the most Underrated soundtrack in any GTA.

GTA VCS had more genres from the 80,s then VC. VCS had more diverse radio stations then VC. I don't hate VC but I just Think VCS had the better soundtrack and story

I liked the thing they had in VCS where they'd pair the previous radio host with a new host, it was nice and so were the interactions with each other, it was kind of funny seeing Cousin Ed call Lazlow in VC after seeing their relationship in VCS, how the tables turn eh? 

 

The music selection is more diverse in VCS I think. For my money though nothing in VCS touches VC's Wave 103 and VCPR(even though this was shorter in VC) and arguably even Flash FM

I just wanna say, even though the radio isn't technically music, VCPR was sh*t in VCS compared to VC. Sorry not sorry but I'd rather listen to Maurice Chavez argue with weirdos more than I'd want to hear rednecks talk about fishing or old reruns of radio shows from the 40s

I like VC story better, but yeah I also prefer the VCS soundtrack over VC. though I think both are some of the best in the series.

I would argue VCS had the best soundtrack out of any GTA game.

 

Vice City had a good soundtrack as well, but it featured more "unknown" songs from popular artists. Whereas I feel VCS had more of a "Billboard 200 Top 20" selection. I have no idea how they were able to secure those expensive music rights, especially for a game with a smaller audience (it was exclusively for PSP for 1 year) and PS2 afterwards, right on the verge of the next-generation console's popularity booming.

Wave 103 from VCS was one of the best stations to me, next to LCS' Rise FM. Something about this version of Wave 103 just captures the '80s. From the pretentious gothic host to the androgynous music. Rockstar really nailed the '80s on the head with that station.

Far from it. Most underrated ones are the 2D era GTA soundtracks which I find to be some of the best. GTA1 especially.

Loved the VCS soundtrack. Emotion 98.3 was my fav with VCFL coming in at a very close second. I liked how Rockstar went with the “Miami Vice” styled font for the VCFL radio station.

Also Everything counts which imo is the best song in VCS' Wave. I guess for me VC version still wins cause theres not a single track I dislike (probably the only gta radio station where its the case for me). Both versions are great but Cars, Keep feeling fascination, I ran so far away are the peak to me, aint nothing in VCS touching that
