Mr Philips The Gey
I've searched the entire forum and I didn't find a GTA V topic like this. Favorite-The Big Score (Obvious)- I like it because of the gun fight and the Fight against merryweather choppers and jeeps. Least favorite-Scouting the Port- As stressing as f*ck, boring as sh*t. Moderatirs/Admins/Staff, tell me and lock this topic if you guys found one exactly like this... Edited December 27, 2020 by mr phillips the great . Rotorhead359
@OP, there is one in Grand Theft Auto Series, but not specifically for GTA V if that's what you mean. https://gtaforums.com/topic/964060-what-is-your-favorite-least-favorite-missions/ Most favourite: all the heists, and the rampages. Least favourite: by the book. That mission really wasn't necessary, just Rockstar being controversial. I don't mind rampaging nameless goons, but torturing someone gets too personal for my taste. At least you don't have to use every tool available, because Spoiler your target is the only left-handed person present. billiejoearmstrong8
Favourite: The Bureau Raid (firefighter version), fun and spectacular, with some nice varying atmosphere and gradual tension building when you have to pretend to be a janitor and actually mop. Crystal Maze, awesome shootout and classic blowing up a building. Caida Libre, the sequence following the plane as it comes down is amazing. Least favourite: any of the heist set up "missions" that never should've been called missions (not ones like Scouting the Port, I actually enjoy that one for the entertaining dialogue and the tasks aren't bad). I guess the worst of all would be "Boiler Suits". eejyool, JaeDan 101 and Kerminator369
Payne
Prologue, the game starts really entertaining. Bury the hatchet, as good as the prologue. Mr Philips The Gey
After some mission replays, I found some interesting and cool missions that I can’t stop playing. And some missions that are too boring. Favorites: -The wrap up -The big score (subtle) - Nigel and Mrs Thornhill missions - Downtown cab co. property missions - Monkey business - Fresh Meat Least favorites: - Did somebody say yoga? JaeDan 101
My Favorites: The Big Score (Both Subtle or Obvious) The Paleto Score Raiding The Bureau (Both Scenario) Monkey Business The Long Stretch Mr Phillips Nervous Ron Crystal Maze Shift Work Taxi Jobs McKenzie Field Hangar Jobs Bury The Hatchet Derrailed Minor Turbulence Least Favourites: Masks - the mission is so short, it will only take you a few seconds to pass the mission By The Book - Click Here Death At Sea - The mission is bullsh*t, you need to collect 30 submarine pieces underwater and sometimes, the great white shark spawns near you and it will kill you, and when you respawn at the hospital you need to go to the dock again and go to the next piece which is so far. JiaHengK
Favourite Mission(s): Father/Son Marriage Counseling Least Favourite Mission: Pack Man Pack Man was by far my least favourite mission for me. Utilising the JB 700 vehicle to neutralise the police was cool, with all of its unique features. But replaying the mission to achieve Gold was extremely infuriating. The long drive to reach the destination was a real drag, and it was a challenge to avoid damaging the vehicle too much when the police kept chasing you on your heels. You shouldn't need to get out to collect anything. You're thinking of the collecting toxic waste mission. There's two different underwater collectible missions, collecting toxic waste after you buy the dock, and a Strangers and Freaks mission that also begins at the dock where you collect missing submarine parts. Toxic waste is done from inside the submarine using the Trackify phone app but for the missing submarine parts one you're in a dinghy with sonar tracking and have to dive down with a wetsuit (the sonar is in the dinghy and there's no way to use the submarine instead). I found collecting toxic waste in the submarine the more tedious of the two since it moves so slowly and awkwardly and you're just down there in it with no radio the whole time. At least when collecting submarine parts with the dinghy you can travel faster and hear some radio while travelling, and there's an element of danger from sharks when diving. The sonar is also much easier to locate stuff with than the Trackify app. Edited December 28, 2020 by billiejoearmstrong8 eejyool, Mr Philips The Gey and Rotorhead359
Payne
As far as i remember, the Dinghy one doesn’t actually require the vehicle. I think I collected some because some waves appeared on the map when i got closer to em, then i just dived without the scuba suit or whatever. Hmm yeah now you mention it seeing the sonar waves at random times does ring a bell. But still it requires diving/not being in a submarine to collect the parts, so using the dinghy and the scuba gear it provides is the best way. Algonquin Assassin
My favourite is Burying The Hatchet. I just love the Max Payne esque vibe. Very cool. For least favourite I dislike pretty much all the heist prep missions and the heists except the jewel store job and the Big Score. Another is Friend Request. I would’ve preferred killing Jay Norris my own way like going to where he was and putting a bullet in his head. I hate how unnecessarily drawn out this mission is and that stupid pop up mini game makes things come to a crawl. Not to mention the absurd logic. Michael knows how to use the virus scanner, but Ricky the dude that wants to be apart of Michael’s crew later on doesn’t? It’s just stupid. I know he’s presented to be kind of an idiot, but come on. Family Reunited for a similar reason. Needlessly drawn out so we get to watch Michael and Amanda scream at each other. Fun. AIcatraz
Top 4: Bureau raid: I like how you rappel down a burning building as cops surround the area and firefighters try to extinguish the fire, its really epic Minor Turbulence: I like how T and Micheal work togheter as a team to work for Martin, it also kinda helps them re-bond togheter The Big One (Obvious approach): I like the action in this mission, specially when you drill into the vault with the big-ass drill Lamar Down: I like the strategic point stuff, i also like the area where the mission is set Worst 5: Scouting the Port - Really tedious mission, pratically useless if you use the approach where you use the minisub Minisub - This is one of the most tedious missions ever, you pilot this slow ass mini submarine into a crane while Wade talks on the radio, i hate that. Pack-man - A tedious mission, specially with the 12km or so drive, i like listening to the dialogue but i dislike holding the trigger on my controller for a long time and using the analog stick to turn sometimes Did someone say Yoga? - I hate the yoga part, it isnt hard but its tedious like all of the missions on my list, also how slow micheal pedals back to his home at the end of the mission Garbo-truck (preparation for Blitz Play) - THERE IS NO REASON, and i mean NO REASON to get a 2-wanted star level in this mission, like you steal cars everyday and only get a 1-wanted max... HOWEVER if you steal a stupid garbage truck you get a 2-wanted star level that is so hard to lose because the garbage truck is slow and cant go uphill, Its also stupid that u cant use any other garbage truck, it has to be THAT ONE located in Mirror Park, this is my least favorite mission in the game if you cant already tell. Homicidal Hipster
Hood safari.. what’s not too love.. great dialogue.. nice gangbangin action and a whole a lot of non linear variety.. .. never cared for the big score obvious.. way too over the top.. that f*cking helicopter part boils my piss and the setup missions suck.. the big score is overrated in general.. worst heist of the lot imo.. or maybe I’m just sad the games about to end JaeDan 101 and eejyool
Mr Philips The Gey
The bus assasination - It's a waste of time to steal a bus, go to a lot of stops, just to find out that the person you are supposed to assasinate is just a regular NPC, with a unique name. So is the Bounty hunting mission that takes part in the quarry, the old man is just the generic trucker NPC, nothing unique to him.
