I don't think Rockstar ever stated that the songs would be exclusive to any game. All this really means is that Rockstar are probably trying to save money by reusing songs they've licensed before. If you get on good terms with the record labels they may relicense songs to you for at a cheaper rate.

I’ve been listening to all the tracks and I’m a very open minded person when it comes to music. I really am but that dj nigga Fox song is f*cking horrible. Like seriously, how did they license this???

Theres a extremely diverse mixture on Slippin...a mixture of Proto Dubstep, Breakcore, Grimey Instrumentals, Dark Garage, some leftfield Hip-Hop, Techno, Footwork and also just very out there experimental electronics.

 

I love it but can’t say it’s all going to be instant.

I saw Gil Scott-Heron being mentioned in the TrackID. Any idea what station? My guess would be Worldwide but from all of the lists I've seen so far he hasn't been mentioned yet.

I like the new FlyLo mix but holy damn is that Thierra Whack song obnoxious as hell. Part of me also was hoping it'd be more akin to the last-gen mix, so a lot more late 90s/mid to late 00s glitch-hop/electronic.  I remember in an 2013 interview he also tried to get Stereolab, Actress, Weather Report, Portishead and some unreleased Burial and Aphex Twin joints on the first mix. Mannn if only...

 

Hoping they update it again for the 9th-gen versions, but I strongly doubt it at this point. At least we got King Crimson tho. Still waiting for the Music Locker and Still Slippin to appear on the radio wheel, destroyed all antennas and still haven't unlocked the latter.

crosspost from bitch and moan kult does not have a clear vision of what kind of station it wants to be. it seems like every new station out in online now is doing the whole eclectic mix thing which doesnt work 95% of the time. only flylo can pull it off well imo. the station would benefit much greatly if it stuck to the protopunk/post punk/industrial format that the logo implies it to have

 

if they removed mac demarco and all the soul, hip hop and trad pop tracks from kult it would probably be a much more decent station imo

 

they should have thrown in some ar kane, bauhaus or early cocteau twins in as well since theres plenty of goth stuff in there its a missed opportunity tbh

 

havent heard much of still slipping but it seems to be 90% grime, mans not hot sh*t which im not a fan of

 

i only liked moodyman's mix in music locker, the rest were pretty forgettable. idk i guess i just like detroit techno deep house type stuff

 

flylos new mix was not that great tbh. i never really liked flamagra because it wasnt as adventurous as his older albums and this mix seemed to share that same sort of feeling.

 

Worldwide fm definitely slaps. its much more consistent, jazzier and laid back than the previous two mixes which feels like ridge racer type music. i think ive heard a remix of emergency on planet earth on ww fm too but somehow its not listed on the spotify playlist. shazam says mfsb and idris muhammad are also in the mix but its not on the playlist too, which kinda sucks

FlyLo Fm and Worldwide FM are in story mode, the old mixes have been disabled in both GTAV and GTAO. So now we have a couple of 2020 stations playing in 2013.

I'm not up on these new stations or what they are supposed to be parodies of....but you would think the Kult Low Power Radio would be the station needing you to transmit with Antennas to boost the signal.

 

Anyway I did the antennas and I still can't hear the station only on Mirror Park.

Negative, at least for me Worldwide FM I know is unchanged in SP, I didnt check Fly Lo
