The plane shows a 90% match with the Tupolev TU-160. this plane is masive!, look at the jet at the top right of the poster en then at the picture of the tupolev. Its wingspan even when extended might not be much wider than the Volatol / Bombushka, so it could in theory land on at least three of the main map runways and possibly the island runway. Its wings appear to be attached to the upper part of the fuselage, so it might not have as many problems clearing obstacles around the edges of the Sandy Shores desert runway compared to the low-winged Volatol. As much as I love the bigger planes in Online, they depend on the goodwill (or lack of) of other players since they are always sitting ducks for broomsticks or explosive sniper rifles. So, as others have pointed out, this new beast would have to be fast, agile and well defended to make it anything more than a mostly unflyable piece of hangar eye candy. The other option is that it's just a dial-in support bomber, or perhaps a mission-only prop vehicle - just like the gigantic cargo jet. Let's hope Rockstar aren't trolling us that much! However if it’s based on the Tu-160 then yes it’s gonna be almost twice as wide. They could make something ‘inspired by’ the Tu-160 but with proportions similar to the B1. I think you misunderstood me, I was talking about actual physical size of the airplanes and the space constrains. Check out the right side of the photo, not much room left between the wing and the rooms. So I imagine its going to be quite large to fit your goons to man the weapons stations. Just all I ask is that if its a Bomber we at least get the option to outfit it with the bombing mechanic....because knowing Rockstar... On the other hand though, holy f*ck, I've been waiting for so long to get the chance to purchase a second hangar that getting nothing besides a slot expansion would kinda be a disappointment. Even if it's slower than the jets we have now, it being able to go Stealth would change the current hierarchy of the game in the right hands. Having complete three-dimensional versatility combined with Stealth would f*ck up the MkII's immediately. Being able to climb faster and dive while invisible, being able to outrun their missiles or even just scream towards them while invisible only to activate weapons and vaporise them. itsallup Posted December 12, 2020 Share Posted December 12, 2020 The tupolev had many design flaws and was nowhere near the beauty of concorde. It had two fins in the front to make it more stable and looks like a small front wing. Ugly. But what I miss is the dc3 from San Andreas at San Fierro Airport. I remember how you would just drive into the airport strip and it would just suddenly appear like a ghost. That plane was a blast to fly.
