GTA V stuttering issue.

My GTA V was running fine earlier this year, about 8 months ago or so when I downloaded it from the Epic Games Store. Left the game for a bit and then went back to play it but it had started stuttering. Left the game again until now when I decided I should get it fixed. I have tried uninstalling, reinstalling, and verifying the files multiple times. I tried anything on the Rockstar support website that applied to me but it still stuttered. Tried dropping my graphics settings, updating graphics drivers, anything I could think of. Tried contacting Rockstar support but they didn't help either. Deleted any files I could find for GTA V and tried doing a clean install and still it doesn't work. Tried buying the game through Steam and launching it from there and still the game stutters.

 

Essentially, the game launches fine. The audio cuts in and out in the main menu. When I load into the game, it stutters terribly right from the start. Stutters when I load into online as well.

 

Is there anything I can do to fix this?
