Difference between PiB tiers

Can someone explain to me the difference between the different tiers of PiB? When it's tier one you can paint targets just as effectively as tier 3. The way I use it I really can't notice a difference. Is it something to do with the number of targets you can paint?

It affects how fast the deadeye meter runs out while using deadeye and how much deadeye each shot uses.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the info.

I run out of dead eye pretty soon with tier 3 pib, is there any way or trick to prevent that?

How long do you usually stay in deadeye? For most things you don't need to stay in deadeye for more than fraction of a second. What I tend to do if I'm up against NPCs is use deadeye only for the particularly tricky shots and get standard headshot kills for the rest. Those standard headshots will top up deadeye.

more than fraction of a second for sure. I've recently started using keyboard so I can't aim faster than I used to with controller. should I go back to controller?

It depends how you prefer to use deadeye. You can go for the lingering ones where you float around for a while painting targets. I usually go for quick fire shots like this one:

No idea how that would work with a keyboard but I'd imagine a controller would make it much easier.

yeah while using controller you have to keep a lil longer than controller, thats why it drains fast. guess I'll be going back to controller

Use The Unblinking Eye ability card with it.
