Question about PS3 vehicle acceleration.

On PS3 when you hold R2 (to accelerate a vehicle), does it let you guys accelerate slowly? (When you hold R2 ever so slightly, your vehicle should accelerate / move slowly until you add more pressure or let go of the button) 

 

For me, it doesn't work. There's only full stop or max acceleration, regardless of how much pressure I apply on R2. I'd like to know if  this feature works on PS3 at all or it's just my controller being sh*tty.

 

Because on Xbox 360 it works just fine.

I think it works just fine, same as on X360.

Perhaps your controller is messing up?

Yep, it works fine on my controller, same as on xbox 360

i also experienced that. What i did is i cleaned the disc for 30 seconds and make a little tests if it is working. And now its fixed
