STNeish
So... lately I'm having a minor issue. It seems only to affect Red Dead 2 Online, but it's not precisely ABOUT the game. In my PC volume settings, I have my mixer set to max volume. Firefox is set at about 10% (to reduce the noise of some videos and such). Pretty well all other programs run at 100% volume... except Red Dead 2 Online. For some reason, every time I start it, it's at about 2% volume. That's NOT in the game settings, that's the PC volume mixer. Now, I can exit and turn it up to 100%, but the next time I start it, it's back down to 2%. I thought it might be the launcher, but that also is set at 100%... so I'm baffled. What would be causing the game to run at such low volume? How do I remedy it? Tabbing out to fix the volume seems to make the game run very unstable, and disconnections result.
zPhoenix
It is a bug and I think you need to reset the mixer every time you launch the game. jackedbanan
kcole4001
Still don't have a clue what causes this. I don't have to do it every time, it's been every second time so far.
