Even if I complete the pass, it wasn't worth it. The only thing I got the pass for was the ammo pouches, everything else in the pass I wasn't interested in. I purchased it on only one account just to be able to carry more ammo since my rule is I can only loot it or craft split point. I started getting rewards yesterday, but the earlier rewards are still broken, and there are many other glitches and bugs still affecting many players. I've been reading this being an issue with a lot of people. So Monday I only turned the game on to check out what was in the pass. Yesterday I had planned on playing, but when I tried to do the cooked succulent fish daily, I had to hop sessions 3 time to be able to craft at my camp fire. No progression on the bounty hunter role as I don't get xp. Gold prices are inflated. Strauss Zelnic want to have an early Christmas. Luckily I am not affected to much by the gold prices. I grinded the dailies to 3100 GB. For the dailies nerf, I don't care so much. There will be Cyberpunk. The eye patch with the red stone looks ridiculous. It sticks out away from my avatar's face. I was hoping for a Terminator eye glowing in the dark. And the piece de resistance: No freakin' heists after two years. As in, there's a whole lot of nothing - no catalogue items, no new weapons, half as much stuff in the pass (and what there is is largely horse cosmetics and free consumables). Yeah, there's a role extension, but it's that in the most literal sense: just more of what Bounty Hunter already added. There's probably someone out there who was desperate to see edgy cosmetic variants of the bolas added, but I'm pretty underwhelmed by the whole thing, myself. I don't put all my eggs in one gaming basket these days so when you play a few other games the butt devastation experienced by many who only play RDO isn't an issue. Also the gold payouts for dailies have been cut in half. And to top that off they reset daily challenge streaks after you reach 28 days, every time now. ventogt Posted December 3, 2020 Share Posted December 3, 2020 I just replayed 2 of the story missions by going on call [R* talking about double XP for story missions] and got zero XP for them, and I believe no money either. No 'bubbles' popped up on the right after either of them. Direwrath Posted December 3, 2020 Share Posted December 3, 2020 It was broken for me the first day, as I could not level up in neither my Bounty Hunter role or the Outlaw Pass. Nor could I sell any samples to Harriet for the Naturalist role. Ironically that glitch only happened after I purchased both as I had reached level 2 of the Wheeler pass right away in my game. There are new horse cosmetics, which tells me that they are not neglecting the possibility of being able to modify the horses in the game. I am also kind of excited about being able to fast travel from my wilderness camp, which is a new perk from the Outlaw Pass. And the new coat colors for the horses are actually rather nice, and I'm happy that they are on horses breeds we already have so maybe we are going to see more colors for all of them eventually. The new clothes are not really impressive, that winter coat (not the Arthur one) is reminiscent of something from Skyrim or Game of Thrones. The hat is scary and there are some furry buckles of people in the Van der Linde gang, that's kind of strange and all... The new legendary bounty is kind of easy to start, but I think it's going to be really fun at higher levels and with more players. As much as I was upset that I could not level up either update during the 6 hours that I was allowed to play the first day I am not completely upset by it, as there are some perks for me. My PS4 was leveling up both BH and the pass today, so I think it was a day one glitch that got fixed. Not sure, but at least for me it played fine today across 2 stranger missions and a shine delivery. PC has a sound issue. I have had no problem losing outfits, or even loosing them! I was playing the morning of the patch, having to leave the game and reboot/clear cache on the xbox one to even get the update to happen. Lost zero outfits and saw no problems with outfits in general. My only problem is I'm already 30 in bounty hunter, which was VERY easy to get by just doing a few bounties that were $$$ and one legendary ("beau", once xp worked again.) Meanwhile, I'm only level 22 in Wheeler Rawson. So now there isn't much of a reason to keep doing the bounties, while they are the "new" thing (something like 39 new ones, I heard?) I want to do them though, because they are kind of a series of catching different gang members on the posters (with an X over the ones you already caught.) I like the quality of life "10 more provisions in a stack" from bounty hunter and "cook 3 meat at once" from Wheeler Rawson. I don't think I've got far enough to get the ammo ones yet. On tumblr there was a player that lost their entire character. When they emailed R* they responded back that there are no deletion records in their files, it's as if the character file didn't even exist, so basically that person just lost two years worth of money and progress and all they did was log in for the new pass. This is word of mouth, mind you. But maybe we need to be a little more cautious just in case? On losing outfits, do they disappear from our inventory?
