Im stuck on the salvage mission the helicopters keep getting me can someone join me and help psn: DanielDudley1988

That mission is quite easy using Stromberg. If you do Aggressive Approach often I strongly suggest you to buy it.

wow, never even thought about that... lol

I use the MK2 and destroy the first wave, then I park my mk2 on the shore, grab the scuba gear, drive the boat out and dive in.

Swim straight down get gear, swim straight up and get back in boat.

Then hall ass to the mk2 jump on and destroy second wave.

Fly back to arcade, then repeat for second one.

 

I'm going to try with stromberg next time....

You can also have a passenger and they'll pick up the other crate if you glide over it too. (Just an FYI).

Hi, there is an easy way to do this mission solo. So you said you have a mk2, perfect.  Obviously take out guys on shore and in boats. Don't destroy the helicopter, just snipe the gunman from a safe distance. Don't bother with a boat, park your mk2 on the closest small island to the question mark. after you find an explosive another copter or two spawns I think, shoot the passenger/gunner with heavy mg, as at this point you can get out of the water on a close rock/island where you parked mk2, and the choppers gunner will be in close/mid range(maybe die once or twice doing this lol) , and no more choppers will spawn because you haven't destroyed them, and they will just hover and shout at you rather than killing you as you swim  fly back and drop off one explosive, and when you get back it will be the same choppers with no gunner.  Hope that helps!

You can pull the mission off fairly quickly solo if you have a Stromberg and a Buzzard. 
 

i Fly there in my CEO buzzard and land on the path that leads to whichever dock area it’s chosen so I can call my Stromberg in, use either vehicle to take out the 6+ gunmen on the docks (I’d advise stromberg) the take your dive into the water, be sure to use the torpedo’s for the boats, they also work as Sea-to-Air missiles for the choppers just gotta listen for the lock on when the enemy chopper flys over Cause you won’t actually see it cause of the weird camera angles. 
 

when you grab your first vault explosive and get back to the shore shoot the passenger of the choppers so that they won’t constantly shoot at you rather than taking the choppers or pilots out cause they just respawn. You then want to use the buzzard to fly back to the city (faster than a MKII at point to point travel) then head back and repeat process that you did for the first one. This is 100% the quickest and easiest way to do that prep.

 

both those vehicles are very practical in different ways outside of the mission too so they’re worth getting if you don’t already have them.
