Did GTA SA ever had Car Alarms ?

Hey Fellows !

Whoever is reading this, just wanted to ask that, did CAR ALARMS ever existed in GTA San Andreas ? I have read many forums and other stuff, but couldn't find exact answer. Some say that stealing the parked cars will trigger the alarms, but it does not ! 

I am a PC Gamer, so I am unable to find that thing in the PC Version of the game ! I really don't know about the PS2 version of that.

And yeah ! I know that they were in GTA 3, but I want to know about San Andreas. 
Also, I saw that in SAMP, there ARE Car Alarm but in the single-player, they are not. I suspect that SAMP installed a mod regarding that !

There are car alarms in this game but very rare and only work with certain cars. I think a few vehicles in Easter Bay Chemicals and one on top of Missionary Hill has car alarms but I will test it out now. However I guarantee you that there are car alarms in singleplayer, it's not a myth.

 

Edit: There is a vehicle by Fallen Tree in the parking lot that has an alarm.

From off the top of my head, the only car I can remember having an alarm is the Stafford that spawns near the Vank Hoff hotel when it is wanted for export. I'm not saying by any means that this is the only example, obviously it isn't, but it's the one that's wedged into my memory the most. It has caused so many unwanted stars after leaving that I legitimately felt like an actual criminal, stealing a boomer's car for profit.
