Rockstar implemented the option to pay gold to advancing rank within outlaw pass. Most players DON’T do this, and instead save up collections to rank up within the Outlaw Pass. Would Rockstar intentionally pause the XP progress in the early days of new Outlaw Passes in an attempt to trick players into surrendering their collections for zero XP (zero outlaw pass progression)? This has happened at the beginning of previous outlaw pass releases. It appears as though they want to drain the wealth of players by any means. I've been playing since release, can't ever remember this happening before; it isn't just "slower", it is like someone hit the "off" switch. Sometimes Grogu, you might want to get it 'over and done with' while you have the time, because you could be busy later with other games, or life. Spend a lot of time doing that....with the goal of leveling up the next pass. So it's either do it ahead of time or wait till the pass drops. Either way, same amount of time is being taken.
