Make sure you check the role in the Progress menu because we've noticed it doesn't always pop up the rewards at the end of the bounty, but it still (usually) rewards them. It also doesn't always show the timer at the top of the screen for everyone in the posse. So they managed to break one of the parts of bounty hunter that more or less worked right before. And they still didn't fix the bug where a KO'd bounty appears dead to everyone except the player who hit it, because they clearly never test these things with an actual group.

You have to go to your PC audio mixer and turn RDR2 up. For some reason it resets to some level like level 5 when you start the game.

Right click on the speaker icon on your taskbar and a menu comes up. Select "Open volume mixer". If RDR2 has started, the option for that will appear in the slider settings.

 

The link says Windows 7 but the title of the article is windows 10 and is correct.

They patched the usefull lantern glitch

And guess what? They broke the game even more patching it!

 

Now when you grab a plant (with the lantern in hand), mount your horse and take your riffle, the lantern disappear AND the game prevent you from aiming or shooting...you HAVE to switch to another weapon.

 

So, even if you play normally you can be restrained because of Rockstar's incompetency.

Yeah, the styles are limited to some bicolors, i think one is white and black and will fit nicely to that new MFT and other is white and chestnut and will fit a new mustang and pair of the gybsy cobs, dont know of the rest... sh*tty as always, they may add the rest in future updates.

I've had to. It keeps resetting for me, at least when I shut the PC down. Haven't tried opening the game twice without shutting down the PC.

(posted this in another thread too, about the dailies, but it is related to the new bounty hunter stuff)

 

The Bounty Wagon Livery is kind of cooler than it looks; that picture has low light, 

in game you can see that the color goes all the way around the bottom half of the wagon (once you buy it.)

I did the purplish one, for 20 gold with the embellishments/whatever. 

HOWEVER, it RAPIDLY gets dirty and nearly totally obscured (or at least especially in the desert area.)

It would have been better if they COLORED the TOP.

 

By the way, A LOT of the $$$ bounty posters put you in a SOLO session; this lingers around

after the bounty ends, for a bit (or even longer, if you immediately get ANOTHER bounty poster

(of any level $ ) then you stay in that solo session until after that one ends as well.) 

 

Also, don't balk if the poster shows 3 dudes. Most of the multi-person $$$ posters I've done

are only to get one guy of the 3-4 on the poster; I think ONE was both of two guys?

They are actually pretty darn easy, affording you plenty of time; usually I am over 5 or even 10 minutes left,

after getting the guy and bothering to throw them in the bounty wagon even if it is just one guy.

So then I wait until under 5, or under 10 minutes, for the better reward (I'm sure not going to wait around

for more than a couple of minutes, though.)

 

 My guess is the XP/Gold/$$$ payout stuff was fixed so fast because it was obviously server-side

(mine was fixed the next morning, without receiving a patch.) My guess is the PC sound stuff

and such require a patch for PC  (since no sound problem on my Xbox One, for example.)

I see, and I was kind of worried about that. Oh well, I will find a way to use them. My new sooty brindle Fox Trotter has a dual braided mane and she looks adorable, she was the one I was excited to get the manes for. Her and the new minimal spot pinto mustang I am going to get.

Right now I have only two stalls that I am willing to free up, and that is because I am not really riding my Cob or my Breton, although I love them both. I'm torn between which one to get rid of, and if it goes by soundness than my Breton Epitaph has to go. After the Naturalist update he suddenly became a bit easier to spook while the Cob is still pretty brave.

I bought and paid for the stand alone game but when I go to the installed game on my PS5 it has no 'Play' option and I have a copy of Red Dead Redemption II installed showing Free Trial...does anyone know what's going on?

 

 

 

Didn't capture the Online game but you can see from the right thumbnail it's showing it's installed, anyone any ideas?

I earned at least 1 gold and $35  (plus 900-1000 something bounty hunter xp) from one of the 3 $$$ bounties (which put me in a solo session, too  ) , which

doesn't seem that bad with streak gold being nerfed? When one puts you in a solo session, even doing lower $ ones keeps you in a solo session (if done soon enough

after the first one ended OH, I ALREADY SAID THAT IN A POST ABOVE, DUR!)

 

Seems like an OK use of time, actually (at least until max bounty hunter level/wheeler rawson.)

The first night the only thing either of us was awarded was gold........our XP didnt move for the character or the role,  ........... However last night we played again and everything worked properly, If Rockstar didnt do a hotfix (Ps4) then i dunno unless it was simpying rebooting the game

Yes I do have PSPlus and it was extended last week to cover me to August 2022 so I doubt it's that, I guess I will try starting the free trial tonight and see what happens but gg R* make a stand alone game and make it difficult to actually start playing

the game!

Can't you see stats for saddles before you buy them anymore? The Upland saddle, is it any good?

 

Edit: Something seems to be bugged with the stables when you try to switch menus. Cant go from "stock" to "improved" or choose between special saddles. Offers and rewards flashes as well but nothing happens when pressing L3. On PS4 if anyone else can confirm the same issue.

Overall I get the sense it's been released in a rush by Sony since it appeared after the normal release cycle for the store during a day and even Rockstar themselves show nothing about a 'Free Trial'

 

What I'm gonna do to check if this is a PS5 thing is download it to my PS4 as well and see if play is an 'Option', I'll report back tomorrow as I love when I find these random broken things in what's already a broken game world/developer. b

I didn't have to reset the sound today, it stayed where I set it last night.

Typical of G* bugs, they affect everyone differently.
