Nothing. Xbox Series X loads GTA Online in like 1 minutes.

Go on my phone and complain on GTAForum about how the loading times are atrocious.

I'll even raise you one - how about waiting for the kid in front of you to finish playing down at the arcade? Torn between hoping he's good so you can see awesome play and hoping he sucks so you can have your turn.

I've been there - and I've been that kid playing as well.  I remember one weekend when I was in my early teens I completed Golden Axe on a single credit - then went and did the same on Double Dragon.  Nowadays I wouldn't have a hope in hell of doing that - I was just completely "in the zone" that day.

No lie, push-ups and squats. Gotta keep that blood flowing. Just 5-10 of per how long the loading screen is. It's amazing how much of a difference just a little here or there can make!

I don't know. I don't really play in solo public lobbies. Never really tried that method either. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Apologies, I was meant to check and report back. Give me 5 and I'll get back to ya. (Like the chap above, it's rare I go public let alone solo with this method and it just skipped my mind. ).

We can indeed! I'm alone right now after changing it to 750. Good news!

 

That said, with RDRO the game doesn't work with low MTU and hasn't since launch, so I do anticipate with the re-release of GTA coming that they'll find a way to stop it. 

 

So I'll be sure to have any old businesses bits done before I switch over.

Got a switchbox for the PS4 screen so with one hit of the button I can switch it to PS4, Digital TV, Xbox 360 or secondary screen for PC.

If we are talking about GTA Online loading screens, then I make lunch, eat it, use the toilet 5 times, make and eat dinner then sleep. I repeat this until the game has finished loading.

 

For other games I usually scroll on social media or just stare at the monitor.

Nothing, I load the game in 20 seconds with my PC SSD and then I join online (mostly private lobby) public lobbies are a pain in the ass, and private lobbies run so much smoothly and load faster, like 1 minute and a half, I only get in public lobbies when I have to sell products

In the interests of being constructive - I could be completely imagining this, but let’s say I want to enter a public session. I find it is usually quicker to:

1) load single player

2) load an invite only session

3) select switch session to get to a public one

This might sound nonsensical but I reckon it could be better not to make the game do to much at once. If I try going straight from single player to public, or even worse, straight from the launch screen to public, I invariably have a really long wait int the clouds. Hopping from an invite only to public seems typically quick however.
