BrynnaDaRosa 73
Been using Andrew's IV Audio Editor, wanting to replace Fascination with another Bowie song I like, but it only exports to .ivaud.wav instead of ivaud. People have made radio station replacements, so i'm pretty sure it's been done before— what am I doing wrong? Edited November 30, 2020 by BrynnaDaRosa
Teki 31
Hi ! I just tested Andrew's IV Audio Editor and it seems like it's modifying the file you load first. Make backups ! I tested with LOADING_TUNE (LOADING.rpf/LOADING/) extracted (not exported) with OpenIV. Load the file in Andrew's IV Audio Editor then right click on the tracks -> Replace All -> choose the wav file you want wait for the process to complete and voilà ! Put back your file in his archive with OpenIV.

When I click export in the editor it exports to .ivaud.wav, and OpenIV reads it as a wav, not replacing the old file. Do you mean i don't export at all and just import back in the one I extracted? Is that the one that it's modifying? Edited December 3, 2020 by BrynnaDaRosa
Teki 31
Yes, I'm not completely sure because I had no extension on the file extracted with OpenIV, but yes Andrew's IV Audio Editor is modifying the original file. Look at the file size before and after replacing tracks.
