bananabeth
A few months back, I was gifted the steam version of GTA: SA. Never been able to start it up, it immediately crashes every time. I've tried all the tricks in the book (to my knowledge)- running as admin, changing compatibility to windows 7 and windows 8 mode, uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times- nothing works. Anyone have any ideas?
cl55684
Migrate to windows 10 and restore to keep my files. windows 7 and 8 have no expensive support.
GhettoJesus
Any error message? How does it crash? You could try go to your documents and delete gta_sa.set in GTA San Andreas User files.

Daniel L
You need to downgrade the game to it's 1.0 version. The steam version is very buggy and the v1.0 won't even crash, not for once. With the 1.0 you can use a lot of mods without crashing, it's the best one for the GTA SA. Clink on this link -> GTA SA Downgrader, and download the full package. If your game still not working after downgrading, hit me up.
