420Oz
Today I decided to do a 100% playthrough of San Andreas. I've booted up livesplit to keep track of time just for my information. But after starting the game, the mouse started going apesh*t - as soon as the the main menu showed up, everything kept being selected, like the mouse was doing ~15 clicks per second on everything, I couldn't do anything. So I closed the game with Task Manager, booted it up again, and didn't move my mouse at all. Still going crazy, but since I wasn't moving the mouse, it quickly chose "New game" and it started. Now in-game, everything works normally (since at first I thought my mouse was broken, I thought that after gaining control of CJ, he would constantly punch, since it was bound to MOUSE1). But as soon as I hit ESC to bring up the menu, it's still happening. Mostly after pressing ESC to pause, the cursor defaults to "Resume game" and just quits the pause screen, but if I move the cursor, then it may keep going between a random screen (like map or stats) and the main menu. So I uninstalled it and installed a fresh copy - no mods, no additional .dll files (it's worth noting that previously I only had installed SilentPatch and used d3d9.dll to play in a window). But even with a vanilla game it still goes apesh*t. But I've noticed that the intro videos are missing (there's the EAX and Nvidia screens, but the Rockstar Games and Rockstar North videos are missing) and it shows the main screen with the game logo. I've also tried using dinput8.dll (the file that supposedly fixes the common mouse problem where it doesn't work and doesn't move the camera), and while that does stop the constant clicking, the camera is glitching out and going in circles, plus the sensitivity is way too high. So I've reinstalled the game again, restarted the PC, and still nothing, and as of right now I've run out of ideas. Also I play on version 1.0 on Windows 10. Any help is appreciated, thanks
