Modded put endless bounty on me of $10000

So my friends and I completed a heist and spawned into a lobby where everyone inside the lobby kept getting $10000 bounties. I left immediately knowing what was happening, but some of my friends kept killing each other and got $10K each time. They didn’t do it a lot after seeing their bounty wouldn’t go away and kept respawning. Is this dangerous in anyway to our accounts? Thank you.

Not really when the cause is someone else unknown, but it's probably best just to "Find new session" or something to get out of the loop or restart the game.

ok got it thank you. That is what we did but the bounties are still there. We are just going to avoid killing each other for now

Update: My bounty and some of my friends’ have cleared. Some of my friends still have their bounty tho

Wait for them to end (after a certain amount of in game hours they will get the 10k for surviving their bounty) and if they're really worried about it tell them to make a quick ticket for R* support, R* will likely just go 'no worries bye' though.

 

The only bounties the game has are 1-9k, anything else is cheater-created and should be avoided where possible.
