It has something to care for everyone. You care about new features, i care about classic cars, he or she cares about races, toxics cares about filling the giant emptiness inside them, bla bla bla... If the new island is freeroam then I'm sure they'll be there for a while - unless there are specific things on that island to dampen down the worst excesses of griefing.
