Since the New Update is somewhat inspired by 80s drug stories by the likes of Pablo Escobar, I think we'll get some 80s cars. Also, as we've seen the island is made of a LOT of gravel roads, wouldnt it be fitting to have some rally cars, like the Lancia Delta Integrale or the Peugeot 205 added? Wether we'll be able to use them to explore the Island or not is a whole different story. By the way, this is my first Post on GTAForums, go easy on me. Cheers! Off-roaders (Willy's MB and HMMWV already confirmed), small compact utility vehicles (Dune FAV, Outlaw, Kalahari type of things) couple of weaponized or armored vehicles (not too many, we already have enough in game), one or two more pickup trucks and one or two more boats, and maybe one or two meme cars. Plus, R* finally realized that community wants tuners, not exotics. This update will have a drug lord of some sort, and they have expensive tastes, for old and new. But also, ultimately the side content needs to appeals to a wide audience so it could have a more generation selection of cars thrown in there like the latest new stuff in the car market these days. But here are some of my wants and predictions: Schlagen 4-door The AMG GT sedan is very hot these days. It is one of the fastest sedans around the Nurburgring and does 0-60 in 3 seconds flat. I think it would appeal to many folks, and you can take 3 friends with you. It's time for a faster, more nimble sedan than the Schafter V12 but with lots more power. Dewbauchee SUV Rockstar has certainly realized SUVs are a big deal these days. We got the Toros, the Novak, the Rebla GTS, etc. Dewbauchee is due for a new car, and the Aston Martin DBX is one of their newest cars. I think it would be a very easy car for them to do tbh. Obey Sedan or Wagon The new RS7 (or RS6 Avant) are also new for 2020 and very coveted. And we do need a new Obey. They already started with the controversial Drafter. Maybe they could do better with a second attempt at an Obey. A new Gallivanter The forgotten brand. The new Defender is pretty hype this year. The last update with a mostly unified theme like that was Arena War, two years ago, and even that included a few luxuries and sports. To go along with the main theme of this update - that is, a classic "war on drugs"-era raid on the holdings of an ultra-rich Pan-American drug lord - I figure there will be some high-end luxury cars of the mid-to-late 20th century and maybe newer, a few militarized vehicles like what we've already seen, and probably a supercar or two. I could also see a new air vehicle or two, and potentially watercraft, seeing as the submarine seems to be playing a big role. Otherwise, I imagine the dripfeed - if there is one! - will be mostly random vehicles that have been in the media as of late and a few fan-requested things, since they do seem to deliver on that front with the winter update. Might be a leaning towards classics this time around, and with this whole year in reflection, I'd hope Rockstar would really deliver on what people have been asking for. Lighten the mood, raise spirits, y'know. Still shocking to me that we're seven years into this game's life and have yet to get some of the most-requested cars. Just looking through the main Vehicle Wishlist/Speculation thread, there are some outstanding absences in-game... As for what I want? Well, keeping to the idea of a 1970s/1980s Caribbean-themed flashback with a dash of Cold War thriller, I'm hopeful for big American cars, imports of both economical and ostentatious character, utilitarian proto-SUVs, and a few oddities. An immense early-70s Lincoln or maybe mid-70s Dodge Monaco, a Checker Marathon, 1961 Dodge Polara, Volkswagen Beetle, Renault Le Car, Porsche 930, Land Rover Series II, early 80s Range Rover, UAZ-452, maybe a 1986 Honda Accord and an early Toyota MR2... I could go on for far too long. Really just expect that there will be one or two vehicles for just about anybody's tastes in this update, but I've been wrong before, so I'll remain hopeful. I think we're gonna be getting some 80s homologation specials like the Lancia Delta Integrale HF, Peugeot 205, Renault R5 and an Audi Sport Quattro (maybe as a Obey Omnis H or MKII?). I've read in Willy A. Jeep's reply that Rockstar seems to deliver requested cars in winter updates, so for me that kinda sounds like a Rolls Royce Cullinan, wich would also fit with the whole drug dealer situation. Also, an Audi RS7 and RSQ8, since that's the ones that's gonna be roaming around real life LA all the time for the next years now. Given the communities thirst for super cars, i think we can expect the McLaren Speedtail, since it's controversial in style, super expensive, and apparently likes to smoke. The whole colombian island also kinda screams Mercedes 190E at me. All in all, i just want that E46 Sentinel for gods sake.
